I gave it a try and no matter the brand of shell I tried, it never fired a single time. Even after many trips on the same shell. Also the little brass sleeve guide around the firing pin slide up and covers the protruding firing pin, so no amount of spring force is likely to set of a blank round.Pass on this one guys it is junk.

These trip alarms are great. They are easy to set up and can be adjusted to fire off in different positions. They seem to be good quality and mine even scared a predator away last week.

It doesn't WORK! Tried it with multiple 12 GA. blanks. Failed to set them off on every one. Don't waste your $$$$$ on this product

The overall design is good but the spring that activates the device is way too weak probably not adequate testing I tried four different 12 gauge primers non worked properly I suggest a stronger spring and more testing

Will not set the blank off not enough bring pressure do not waste your money I bought 2 like a fool and both didn't work

fell apart right out the box

Highly disappointed. Ordered two for around coop. Tested it and spring is not strong enough to trigger the primer.

Does not work at all. Spring is junk.
