I haven't read the book yet but interesting to note is that all Anne Cleeves books from 2002 are being re issued by the publisher with New Covers.

Vera solves it again.
Having seen all the series starring Brenda Blethin you can imagine her within the story. Ann Cleeves is a very good storyteller.

Not heart-stopping but a good story.

The story meandered on but I found it all implausible. I thought it would conclude in a surprising or interesting ending but it did not. Disappointed.
