Stewart 2064034 Terrace Trough, 80 cm - Terracotta

60cm trough not as depicted.
The 60cm trough is fine, but it is clearly depicted on the site with a single image showing a tray under the trough. You don't get the tray. The tray implies that the trough would have drainage holes, which it doesn't. Both issues are easily fixed but it means you have to fork out for an additional tray and get busy with a drill. I'm sure I could have worked this out with a bit more care and thought, but a picture paints a thousands words.... right? Feel a bit misled, to be honest!

Good trough much too much packaging.
A good looking basic trough that exactly meets my needs. Only thing is the packaging. I ordered 8 of these and they each came separately packaged in a box four times the size as in the picture. All 8 could have been put in the one box and the box would still be twice the size it should be. I now have a mountain of cardboard and paper packaging.

Ok product BUT...
The product seems ok but there was an enormous packaging waste, like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Very disappointing.

Good quality UK made plant tray
I purchased a number of these to put rows of pots in on a long windowsill in my enclosed balcony. The quality is what I expect from Stewart - a long established manufacturer of plastic products of this type. Good and sturdy (despite being described as lightweight they are pretty solid) and well finished. It's also good to be able to buy garden products that are manufactured in the UK, keeping the carbon footprint down. The dimensions are not exactly as stated in the description (which was listed as 80 x 19 x 2.5 cm)The tray has maximum external dimensions of 77.4 x 18.5 x 3 cm, and the internal dimensions at the base are 73.6 x 14.9 cm.(I imagine that the anomaly is because it is designed to fit the same manufacturer's plant trough, which is probably 80cm long at the top?)

It doesn't fit the 80cm pot!
This was bought to go with the deep trough 80cm pot but it is too narrow to take the base of the pot, so it was a waste of time! Fortunately my wife had another use for it so it wasn't worth sending it back, if I had to the amount of packaging was ridiculous.

Quality item, great price; excessive packaging.
A great item, but OH DEAR - (we had been warned by others in their reviews) What a ridculous way to package and send each one separately. Two would surely pack with one in a plastic bag (to prevent any vacuum) sitting in the other and then have corrugated cardboard, which is biodegradable and recyclable, within the cardboard box to protect against damage during transit. The actual trough is the quality you would expect from Stewart - very good. Happy to recommend the product for the quality and price, but join others in expressing dissatisfaction with the amount of packaging used.

Good value trays , very slightly warped, ridiculous amounts of packaging
Good value item but trays are very slightly warped, so do not sit absolutely flat, but the weight of pots I'm using them for makes this less of a problem for me. I bought the required minimum three items and they arrived in separate large boxes, each of which could have accommodated five or six of these trays. Certainly a waste of materials.

Not the item described
Although described as a Stewart 59cm trough tray, this is not that item. It's not made by Stewart, and it's a really cheap and nasty, slightly smaller tray. It's not as substantial as the Stewart one, but I guess it will just about do the job I need them for. Under normal circumstances I would return them, but as we are self isolating, this is not really an option at present.
