Q: Are the keys programmable like other gaming keyboards?

If you are using Windows OS, yes, you can define it. But it isn't very powerful personally. Based on my testing, the programmable key seems should be one single key, no combination. The programming items include mapping this key to another key, playing a key action macro, fast inputting a piece of text, and media control (play/stop/volume...). All the keys can be used for programming, but the cherry key beside the ESC key is preferable, as this key won't be used for typing. You can also customize the RGB color of this keyboard with the software. Right now, it seems that the software is only available on Windows. Hope this helps.
