Carnival Of Souls: Welcome To The Show (Volume 1) [Wild, Jazan, Conrad, Kevin, Petrucha, Stefan, Barnes, Sharon] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Carnival Of Souls: Welcome To The Show (Volume 1) Review: Tiger King! - Carnival of Souls: Book One is an absolute feast for the eyes. The artwork is so vivid and kinetic that the tigers practically leap off the pageโmuscle, motion, and menace captured in panel after panel. The color work and composition pull you straight into the storyโs eerie, dreamlike atmosphere, and the character designs have a bold, mythic quality that sticks with you long after youโre done. The blend of urban legend, jungle survival, and macabre carnival vibes makes for a unique hookโand the art alone is worth the ticket. Highly recommended. Review: Not Bad - As comics go, this isn't too bad. The art work was lively and engaging, and the dialogue was better than average. Alas, the story was a bit too derivative. But, overall, I enjoyed this first episode.

I tried to enjoy this but it just wasn't happening for me
I tried to enjoy this but it just wasn't happening for me. The art work is decent, but it didn't jump out as anything amazing and the first part if this series did not grab me enough to continue on. I do appreciate that the storyline seemed original enough however, so I am giving it 3 stars.

Art style is a throwback to 90s-Era Marvel Grit
Carnival of Souls is a blend of influences: I could see Tarzan, Stephen Kingโs IT (because of the clown), and even Marvelโs Hulk (because the hero falls for the villain's daughter), but it all worked and felt fresh. The art is a massive standout. It hits that perfect sweet spot of late-90s/early-2000s Marvel style that I absolutely love. Weโre talking bright, bold colors and hulking, muscular creatures. Even the love interest is handled well; sheโs written as "sexy" in a grounded, normal way that doesn't feel over-the-top. The narrative choices are also really smart: The Mystery: The Clown is an intriguing figure. Right now, heโs acting as a sort of patron or "controlling power-provider" for the protagonist, but the comic book keeps the specifics under wraps. Itโs exactly the kind of mystery you want in a debut issue to get you to buy/read the next issue, and it worked; I want to read the next issue.

Fun read
Wonderful environment, cool story, great colors. I loved the confused protagonist living a dream or nightmare I should say. I enjoyed it all! I recommend!

Fear of unknown. Propaganda.
Escape into fantasy then belief in fantasy. One begins to lie more and more in order to cover up ones fears. Anti hunter. Anti gun. Anti reality. Run Bambi! It's man... As though the author is different. As though the author knows what's best for others when he really covers his ignorance enhanced fears with a child's black and white outlook on the world. But if Bambi were eating from his garden...he'd use poison.

Carnival of Souls is a comic graphic novel about a child who is the only survivor of a plane crash. Little does he know, thats not the only way his life was about to change. I thought Novel 1 was written and illustrated very well. Would recommend

Old novels are the best. Thank you for providing them in this format. Looking forward to next in the series.

I don't know what to think about this graphic novel. The illustrations are good, and the story is weird. I had a good time reading, but it's not as fluid as I would like. The creepy part is rendered well.

What a great comic. Im a big comic fan of the usual DC stuff but his was a nice change to be honest. The art work is absolutely amazing, the story is also very good. No problem recommending this to any comic fan that wants something a little different.

Not much on reply value but I could spare a few dollars for it not sure how it's going to go for a series.
