Classico Medium Roast Ground Coffee, 125g (Pack of 3)

I'm the only one in our family who drinks coffee - and then only once a day - and I find that by the time I get half way down a normal 250g pack the taste is off. So I find this 125g size much better. I've tried keeping it in cupboards, fridge, freezer and I find the best for me is in a cool cupboard in a airtight, light-tight container. Like these tins in fact.The best way to buy coffee is freshly roasted and ground from a specialist. Not many of those in your average provincial English town. So I try to buy the best branded coffee I can. I've tried many different brands and find this one is consistently good. More expensive than most but these are not a bad price and occasionally on offer. I've noticed many Italian restaurants using this coffee.I use a cafetiere. Works well for me.

If you have an espresso machine at home, get this!! I promise you that once you try this you will fall in love with it!I have a bean to cup machine so normally use coffee beans (not by illy), but I went to a cafe and they served preground illy and I just fell in love with the taste that I had to get some myself.I use these with my Gaggia Classic, and the latte, cappuccino etc it makes is just the best!For the price, you are getting really good coffee! illy knows their stuff when it comes to coffee, they even have scientists always looking for ways to improve their coffee!The packaging is really well and it comes with nitrogen inside to preserve the coffee. Just some advise: when opening the container, be careful as the nitrogen released can force some coffee into your eyes!But really, this is by far the best coffee I have ever had.

Makes a really nice cup of coffee

Excellent flavour consistently good would prefer to have the large tins instead of half sized ones don’t know why this has changed I can’t locate the product in a number of supermarkets I’ve tried thus buy online where there is more consistency

What I expected, very good coffee at a decent price.

Delicious, when used in a pressurised basket for espresso machine you don’t need to tamp it down much or it won’t flow through

Love this coffee, it has the best round full taste and I have to have a daily afternoon cup of real tasting coffee.

Nice coffee, just not big enough tins, we seemed to use it in no time at all. Probably works out more expensive than buying coffee in packs rather than tins, but the tins are handy to re-use.
