Peel & Seal Driveway Patch for Long Lasting Pothole Repair

This stuff isn’t cheap but I ended up buying several rolls after getting the first to evaluate it. It stuck extremely well to my slowly dying asphalt driveway. I filled the holes with cold patch and let that set and cure and then put this over the top and used a tamper to slam it down and then drove my mower over it and then the car. I will add that I think it is important to follow the instruction that you should apply it when ambient temperature is above 75* so the surface is hot enough and the adhesive is soft and sticky. I also tamped and drove over it again the next hot day just to make sure. It seems to be down very solidly and I don’t see why it wouldn’t buy me a few years of not replacing me entire driveway.

I bought and installed this a month ago to patch over some asphalt cold patch in a lane that gets a fair amount of traffic. It’s held up well for the month so far, of course it’s been dry and warm. I am hoping that it keeps that pothole filled for a year or two at least, I also bought some to put over some crocodile cracks in a parking lot hoping that that will stop that from Worsening and keep that parking lot in good shape. The material looks great when you put it down it looks like a standard asphalt patch if something goes weird I will update my report but so far so good.

I liked it at first and bought several more rolls but, yesterday, while I was leaf blowing one of the sheets had a section lift off the ground after tamping and weeks of driving over it. I checked the other sheets and a few of them had loose sections.It looks good but it isn't going to survive plowing and snow-blowing season and I am bummed about that.

I purchased 2 ADFORS peel & seal driveway asphalt patch to cover alligator cracks in my driveway. I put them down about a year ago. I waited to see how they held up before I wrote a review. They are working great. Holding up well to the weather and traffic.

I fail to see the point in this patch material. The instructions state to fill a patch with proper patch material, then apply this membrane. So I have to fill the patch with something that is already designed that purpose, then put a piece of tape over it just to ensure it stays in place? Well, that doesn't work for me. I filled a driveway pothole with some gravel that I had because I wasn't going to buy another product to solve a problem that I expected this to take care of. The adhesion is great and is holding up, but it looks like a thick taped patch, like elbow patches on a camelhair suit. I think this is better suited for a temporary repair than a permanent solution.

works as it should but will not truely know till after the first winter , very poor packageing one of the rools was crushed in the box , left it out in the sun to warm up and was able to apple it to the driveway ok , i personaly will not buy again

I have a large oil damaged spot in my parking lot. As with anything else, preparation is everything. After cleaning, filling and sealing the affected area the patch was applied. All is well and the leaking oil will now stay on top of the patch.

I needed this for a different application which was to help keep the the rocks on my gravel driveway from sliding downhill. I applied this and used heat to install it which I would recommend anyway to help make it stick. This I applied rock over the top. It’s been working very well for my application and looking forward to see how it holds up over winter time. Overall easy to use, the heat helps and would most likely work in the application it’s supposed to be used for.
