This item is GREAT. It is wind resistant and it doesn't take up much space! I will be using this whenever I am camping!

You can easily light candles or anything outside needed with wind blowing without it blowing out. Battery stays charged a long long time after many uses.

This would come in handy for your everyday smoker and or a survival situation! Works as described! Battery life seems pretty great so far.

This is a nice little lighter. Wonderful that it is rechargeable, you never need to worry about running out of lighter fluid! It doesn't go out in the wind, as it's not a flame.I love that you can position it and the head extends. The safety feature of having the locking mechanism is a great feature.My only issue is its not very powerful. It can probably ignite very dry items that are loose with lots of "air". I folded up a piece of paper and touched it to the heat-rather than "igniting" and producing flaming paper, it was a soft smolder burn of the paper. I was hoping to take it camping to use for campfires, but its hard to get the firestarter lit with it.Small jobs this works great, and for an all purpose "lighter" I think this is great. You can get cheaper lighters like this, but the small size/portability can't be beat. I just don't think its powerful enough to produce flames vs. smolders.
