Yes, the lid comes with a soft edge cover.

Thanks for your attention. :) The lid is ca. 13.4inch. A little bigger than the pan.

Q: Can this be used with metal cooking utensils?

I would not. All of the non-sticks that swear you can use metal really don’t hold up to metal. This pan so far cooks evenly and quickly, and I use non-stick utensils on it.
