I am delighted with the Gtech SLM50 lawnmower. I used it today for the first Spring mow and it handled my small garden perfectly. It is beautifully designed with no ugly sharp corners - except for the cutting blade- it is light to use and makes little noise. It is cordless. It was also very simple to assemble. I recommend it very highly.

Ordered this yesterday, read the instructions, put it together and adjusted the cutting height in minutes. Charged the battery and ready to go, that simple. I hate gardening of any sort, but needs must. Set off this morning even though I was concerned that the grass was rather too damp. I needn’t have worried, this little machine is a dream to use. I have a back problem and anything physical tends to hurt. No bending down to push cuttings to the back of the collection box, then having to empty it, I could go on. It’s easy to clean and so small for storage. It didn’t cut out once despite my concerns as the grass was quite tufty as well as damp. I wasn’t convinced about the mulching in theory, but in practice it seems pretty damned good, you can’t tell that the cut grass is there. More than good enough for me, I just want to cut the grass quickly and painlessly and I can with this little machine. Hardly used any power either, the battery is still showing 4 bars.

This mower is very simple to put together, and also easy to use. It is effective, and ideal for a quick trim of a small lawn. I'm not sure it would cope with the first cut of the Spring, but once you've got the lawn trimmed and tidy, then this will keep it like that. It took me about half the time to mow my lawn, compared to mains hover-mower, just because I didn't have to get the extension lead out, and then put it all away again. etc. No fear of accidently cutting through a lead, either. It is a lot quieter than my hover mower too.

Easy to assemble and adjust height, I've got a herniated disc so lower back problems and having bought a brilliant but heavy Einhell cordless cylinder mower, I struggled with getting it in and out of its storage place.. It also weighs almost 12kg hence my struggle with it so I treated myself to this one and it is much lighter to move around and use on the lawn.. It doesn't cut as low as the cylinder one but it's fine for my use and no longer a struggle so don't need to pay anyone else to do it.. I'm hoping it lasts a long time.. The easiest mower to put together, click the handles on to each other, I'll add a before and after photo as you have to look closer to see the difference but it's still better than the struggle with the heavy cylinder mower.. The first after photo was at 50mm and the new one I did today on 40mm and it's low enough for me

For smallish lawns this mower is ideal,I have front and back lawns and this mower is very lightweight it has no grass box and I wonder just the grass has gone, it is also very easy to clean with a brush.So far I have only used it on high setting on first cut long grass it was easy.

The lawnmower is easy to use on our little lawn but it just doesn't cut as close as we would like. The lawn looks lumpy.

This compact mini Gtech Lawnmower is ideal for smaller gardens. We have a full size mower which is a pain to store, so when i came across this mini mower i decided to order. The lawnmower can either be purchased as a stand alone base unit or with the handle and battery - we have the GTECH hedge trimmer and strimmer, however the new style handle is not compatible with the old style device so i had to purchase the whole lot, which was disappointing. The mower only has a single handle, so it does take a little getting used to, however after a few minutes we got the hang of it and found it was very easy to manoeuvre. You can choose between two cutting lengths by varying the height of the rear and front wheels. My review video was on the highest setting. As you can see it does not have a grass collection box, however due to the way it cut's the grass and mulches the clippings you don't even notice the grass clippings being left behind by the mower - it actually did this brilliantly - leaving cut & mulches grass clippings is also a cheap and easy way to feed your lawn. In summary i am very impressed with this little guy - it is tiny in comparison to my previous full size mower yet just as powerful - it had no issues cutting though my grass which had not been cut since last autumn. The bonus thing is that it is so much easier to store if you have limited space!! Highly Recommended!

This is really great. I’m disabled and can’t use a regular mower. I used to have to pay a fortune to have it cut and I’ve only got a tiny lawn. This is very small and really light (literally looks like a kids toy), so I can do it on my own with a chair. The grass looks great. It comes with a little green key that you remove when not using it, so little ones don’t start playing with it and get hurt. I don’t have a before picture, but it was reasonably long. Long enough that it needed cutting anyway. I find the cutting heights fine. I’m so happy that my garden looks normal again and it will pay for itself within a couple of months. Thanks.
