dodgy !!
I have tried several methods to get this to work correctly without any joy , This would not show up on file manager or disk management even restart failed , control panel was no help . checked the usb-c cable was okay , then swapped my one for the one that came with drive and then it showed & worked , don't see why as the other cable works just fine perhaps different pin set-up . seems okay now but still not 100% sure about it - Later update - Seems to work fine , downloaded lots of files to this and all appear to work without any problems , I was rather sceptical after watching a you tube reviewer slag them , but not had any errors show up ,so good enough for me.

Poor capacity
I could not guess this to work, no matter how I tried. The most I managed to get on it way 60 Gb before it reported a corruption. I tried formatting it a number of times but this didn't help. Windows reported errors too, which it could not fix. Returning.

Do not buy
this product is not compatible with windows 11 and even when it is windows 10, the data transfer is painfully slow. if you need an external hard drive just get the money for a more reliable one NOT this one
