Decent Stick with an adequate tripod mode.
Overall, while nice, this is slightly overpriced for the medium level quality and stability. As a stick, this is very nice - at least when less than fully extended. The phone mount is decently strong and seems to resist slippage while in use. Not sure I would trust the mount in stick mode for any sudden motions as it is only holding on a single axis with a single spring held grip. The closed legs make for a really sturdy grip and it's easy to manipulate the 'remote' while it's locked into the base. When it's fully extended, the rod becomes a little too flexible and getting a steady shot become harder. As a tripod, at any less than 3/4 height, it's rock solid. At full extension, it's fairly solid if _nothing_ is acting against it. A decent wind and the phone acts like a sail - the rod sways and a gust easily knocked it over. Some of this is due to the short legs and 30° angle they sit at. There isn't much grip to the feet of the legs either. As you can see in the photo, there is just a tiny rubber pad at the bottom of the leg. It is a small trapezoid of rubber that is about 7mm by 4mm.The remote connects as an input device very easily and works as intended. Comes with a short USBA to Micro cord for charging. There's no place to store the cord and the stick doesn't include any sort of carrying bag.

Handy Tripod - Quality?
So here is what I love about this tripod stick. It's super lightweight, which makes transporting around easy. It can easily fit in your book bag, baby bag, purse, etc. I also love the height of the tripod stick. I'm about 5'3 feet tall and this tripod stick stands true to length. I also love that it comes with a button to take selfies. It connects via Bluetooth and can be used to snap photos. Here is what I don't like about the tripod stick it is the quality. I don't think the quality is sturdy. I also question the stability because if I'm outside and it's windy I don't know if this tripod will stay standing. So even though it's handy/useful, I'm being cautious and using this device indoors instead of outside.

Long, Sturdy, and Mostly Made of Plastic
Folded, this stick is about 9.5 inches long and made mostly of plastic. There are several support arms in the tripod that are made of metal. Fully extended, the stick is about 5 feet long. The pole is surprisingly stiff and sturdy. The tripod is about 13.5 inches wide, and the legs are easy to extend. The bottom of the legs have rubber pads. You need to be careful when retracting the tripod, since your fingers can get pinched by the moving parts. The Tripod section feels a kinda cheap and rattles when closed. Yet, the legs feel sturdy and stable when extended.I haven't used the remote, because I'm using this with an action camera.Overall, it's a clever design, and the selfie stick is strong and sturdy. The round handle design makes it comfortable to hold. The tripod is quick to deploy and works well. As for value, it's more expensive than similar sticks, and other sticks in this price range have better features.

Portable and easy to use
This tripod is very light weight, portable and easy to use. I'm not a golfer but I'm using it for other things which is primarily traveling. The days of me dragging along a big and clunky tripod are long gone. Anymore, like the majority of people, I use my cellphone for all my photo and video needs. I've tried a tripod/selfie stick in the past, but it was bulky and the legs folded up like a regular tripod, so it was difficult to hold. And, the shutter button wasn't integrated into it so I had to hold it separately. This product has a holding place for it on the base so it's a lot more convenient. As for the tripod itself, it works. It's not going to give you the stability of a traditional tripod, but it works. I can't use it on a slope though. This thing isn't nearly as stable as a real tripod and the higher you raise it, the less stable it is. But for our needs when traveling and taking vacation photos, it works pretty well. The tripod itself collapses and stores in a nice compact size. If you're a minimalist like me, you'll appreciate how compact it is. The shutter button was easy to sync to my phone and works well, so no complaints there.Overall, for a price tag of $27.99, it seems fair and on par with similar selfie/tripod sticks.

Lightweight and simple to Use
Here are my observations:1) Tensioned extended section (you don't need to twist anything, and it will stay at the point where you extend it).2) Small, Compact, and comes with a handy Bluetooth remote.3) It seems stable even with iPhone Pro Max mounted.4) It Does not seem like it will take much abuse - I tend to take good care of my stuff, but if you tend to be a little rough with your golf bag, you may not get much mileage out of this.5) This will not remain stable on anything other than a smooth, level, and relatively flat surface (tee or green). Using it in the rough or even the fairway may not be advised. It will work fine in the sand, but getting sand in the mechanism may cause problems later.6) Although I did not test it in windy conditions, it may not withstand gusty winds.7) I did test it with my iPhone Pro Max mounted to it, and it is very easily tipped over from almost any direction - and that was on a solid slab floor.NOTE - Two or three well-placed wire tent stakes bracing the feet of the tripod could make a huge difference in stability.

Good stand
First, I don't have any use for the selfie features. I use this to occasionally take time lapse videos of weather and stars. It holds the phone nice and solid. At low heights it doesn't sway much at all, again, it's pretty solid. But raise it to the highest height, and the wind can sway it a bit (thus, minus a star). Overall, I recommend.
