I've bought, and given away, several of this type of learning deck with keywords and other info on the card. This is by far the best of the bunch and is a keeper. In fact I own most Wyspell decks, because they're great quality with great images and good guidebooks. Although I'm an experienced Tarot reader, I never really added astrology to my repertoire, and find it easier learning the astrological associations by using the cards themselves rather than trying to memorize from a book. The cards give a lot of other useful info as well, including time frame, element, affirmation, etc. The card stock is very good and the printing is well done. The box is sturdy. I'm not a snake fan so the card back is not my favorite image, but it's well done. The book is also excellent. I take issue with some of the symbolism descriptions, but I appreciate that the symbols are sometimes described slightly differently depending on the context of the specific card. All told, a very good learning deck. If you're in the market for this type of deck, this is the one to get.

These cards are very much,(visually) like the Rider Waite deck, which was my first Tarot card deck many moons ago. I purchased these since the graphics were familiar and they offered the additional benefit of added information about each card making them an excellent deck for anyone wanting to go beyond guessing. The deck is beautiful and substantial where many tarot cards are somewhat flimsy. The coating on the cards will ensure years of use if not decades. There is also a very useful 200 page guidebook included in the box such as an affirmation, a breakdown on love, career, finance and time periods. A number the card refers to, the element, astrological sign, chakra, if it is a yes or no card and a short meaning of the card. And more... Whew....I also gifted a friend of mine a new deck! 💕☮️

Has all the information you need on each card, making understanding each card much easier. Would recommend these to everyone. Easy to shuffle, good weight, come in a sturdy box for safe storage. Happy with my purchase.

These are lovely cards but the smell is permeating my whole apartment. The yes/no is inaccurate on some, that’s true, but they are richly colored (chemical inks??) and have great info otherwise. Omg the chemical smell is overwhelming as I type! Very intense. I will leave them outside to off gas and decide what to do with them tomorrow.UPDATE: I was contacted by seller to resolve this and the customer service was Top-Notch! After a few days the smell wears off and the seller is now allowing the cards to "breathe" before packaging. They are quite beautiful and so richly colored so I look forward to using them regularly and supporting Wyspell in the future.

I initially wanted to return this deck of cards because the edges started falling apart as soon as I began shuffling them. I had bought this deck to replace a previous one with the same issue, and I was disappointed that the new deck had the same problem, especially since I had spent more on it. Another thing that I didn't like was that I wanted the pictures on the cards to be larger.However, what I do like about the deck is that there is a lot of helpful information on the cards. I've been reading tarot for a while, but I'm not familiar with the Waite-Smith deck. I decided not to return the deck because the more I looked at the guidebook that came with it, the more I realized it's one of the best guidebooks I've ever seen paired with tarot cards. It's small, but it contains a wealth of information, including details about chakras, different card spreads, interpreting colors and symbols, and a quick reference for card meanings. The way the information is organized and presented in the guidebook reflects the expertise of the author and their ability to share knowledge effectively.I found the guidebook to be extremely insightful, and I believe it's worth purchasing separately. I think the author is very skilled and knowledgeable about tarot, and they have done an excellent job of conveying that knowledge in writing. I'm also impressed by how the cards are grouped by colors, which correspond to the elements they represent. This feature can be very helpful for beginners in understanding how the elements relate to interpreting the cards.

For one, it is very rare I ever leave an Amazon review, as I order so much and just really have to love an item or dislike it to spend time reviewing it.With that being said, I have a little over 60 tarot/oracle decks, and when I say this one is my absolute favorite, Wyspell did their thing! This deck is beautifully and very well made, easy to shuffle. Not to mention they feel devine in your hands. I will be ordering two more, as one I want to preserve and not use; one will be my daily deck, and the other will be used from time to time. If you are a beginner, this is by far the best deck to start learning tarot, as the Wyspell book even includes information on the colors and symbolism of each card. If you were considering ordering them, do yourself a favor and like Nike. JUST DO IT!

This is a great learning deck…lots of good info. Guide book has good info too. However Some of the Yes/No were off. Other than that, If you’re a beginner, this is a good deck to start with.

Great cards. Really explains the meaning of each card. I am a beginner with tarot and these help out immensely.
