This is a very nice set that is pretty much the same as a Porta Power. This low profile ram will allow you to apply hydraulic pressure in various different ways in various different areas. This tool will come in handy in the shop or on the farm or nany other places. Especially usefull on Semi Truck work. This is a very excellent value for this hydraulic ram setup.

PROS: Solid Heavy Duty Hydraulic Jack, compact and fits in those tight spaces others won't, perfect for foundation and large beam leveling, can be used in a vise for pressing fittings and bearings (where only a short stroke is necessary), plug and play connections for other hydraulic items, comes with extra seals, reasonable heavy duty hand pump. CONS: Moves real slow up, but fast down, up and down valve is labeled with just a sticker that is coming off due to fluid leaks all over it, comes in fluid soaked box, seems to leak minor amounts of fluid everywhere (hint: once ready to use, do not disassemble or release fittings: leave all fittings attached unless you have to change to other devices or heads, perhaps new seals included need to be put in right away?), Instruction manual is almost useless (translation into English is comical), if you know what your doing, it's all obvious, but, if its your fist time using one of these, you'll need better instructions: (plan on looking up understandable instructions online). Overall good value.

This 10ton low profile hydraulic cylinder ram jack is a mouthful to say, but it’s a powerhouse in action. It’s like the Hulk of hydraulic kits - small in size but mighty in strength. The 0.43" stroke may seem minuscule, but it’s like a tiny karate chop that can move mountains (or at least very heavy machinery). The manual hydraulic hand pump is a nice touch - it’s like going to the gym, but you’re also being productive at the same time. All in all, this kit is the Arnold Schwarzenegger of hydraulic kits - strong, reliable and with a lot of character. Three stars because it doesn’t come with a personal trainer to help with the manual pumping and it has been constantly leaking since I got it.

Just over 1/2" stroke. These short rams always have a much shorter stroke than would it would seem, shimming is almost always part of using these. I shim with little pieces of metal or large washers.My experience is with Enerpac pumps at work. I got this for ranch use. The pump is much smaller than the Enerpac pumps. My only reason for saying this is that the volume of oil that the pump can hold is smaller. But it worked well for. a 10T 4" ram. Pump volume per stroke and pressure output was meet my expectations but I did not put a gauge on it. These pumps do not have the same fitting as Enerpac, so you may need to change fittings or stick to this type of fittings.I have used this several times, no leaks, performs as expected. Had no issues spreading the yoke on a F550 axle shaft that had squeezed closed a little after a broken Ujoint.

Using this setup to level and shim a very large, very heavy piece of machinery worked well. There were no leaks and no difficulty in using this jack kit. This made the job so much easier, and I was able to get it done just as I wanted it without additional help. Great thing to have on hand. I received it through the Amazon Vine program.
