Turn your coffee maker on from the next town over!!!!!!!!
I have had this wifi smart plug for a while now and i have had no issues with it at all. I have used it countless amount of times and it still runs great! the possibilities are endless with this with the amount of functions it has. i have had no issues with it with it failing on me in any way. the App is super easy to use and has yet to crash or do anything goofy to me. your phone does not need to be on wifi in order to control it. you can be the next town over and still turn on your coffee maker!!! ( only need to be on wifi when setting every thing up at 1st )

Exactly what I need to control home while away
When purchasing this I was looking for something that could control my air conditioner outside of my house. My front window in the living room is large and faces west. When I get home from work my home is a sauna, and I either have to leave the A.C. on all day or find alternative. This was perfect. Setting up the app on my phone took less than a minute and was very easy (didn't even read instructions. With a simple click I could turn on/off the Wi-Fi smart plug. Oh how I'm so happy about this. I can save on my power bill now buy controlling devices that don't need to be in use all day with a simple click on my phone.

Great devices after the right app is found.
Works great after first failure to find the right iOS app. After finding the app, works as advertized. iOS users please scan the QR code in the instructions to find the right app "Smart Life - Smart Living" by Yu Xiang. Searching apple apps for smart life directly will produce an app that is useless. The timer and scheduler features in the app are simple and nicely done. I have not yet used the switches with Google Home or Alexa so I have no comments yet on that.

Works well if you use the companies app, but for my use I wanted to use Smartthings, even though I can create some rules using IFTTT, and create an automation using that, i cant control it using the Smartthings app (At least I have not figured it out yet)

Bought 4 of these.. they worked great for about a month... then all of the sudden you can't turn on or off the lights.the switch looses connection and when trying to reconnect you get the message that the WIFI is to fast.Finally gave up and bought a different brand.

Won't fit in standard electrical box!
Wouldn't fit in metal switch box that was original to the house. Removed it, installed a new, plastic box, still wouldn't fit! Didn't get around to installing till after return window. If you buy this make sure it fits your box before you waste your time and money like I did!

Installed 1 and it worked great for one and a half months then quit
Installed 1 and it worked great for one and a half months then quit. Thank God I had a second one-- hope that this lasts a little better then the first one. I have been using a TLP for well over a year which has never failed, However its much bigger and and covers the whole outlet and was hoping that I could replace the TLP with this.

Okay value for the money
Easy to set up and link to Alexa. One outlet works great, but the other keeps disconnecting and has to be deleted and re-added - defeats the purpose of having it. Trouble-shooting help not great. Will try it in another location, if still a problem, will most likely just toss it and keep the one that is working.
