The magnet is very strong. The scrubby sponge is effective at removing the algae growing on the glass. When you pull the handle of the outside of the aquarium, the sponge floats to the top for easy removal. It comes with a plastic and metal scraper, but I haven't had to use those yet.

I was skeptical at first, but trusted the other reviews and bought it. I'm glad I did and it's been the only thing keeping my glass free of algae. I can tell when my tank is ready for a water change when the Algae starts to blur my tank glass; it's kind of fun to swipe the glass and clear it again before everything is clean again. The algae I get is the softer, easier to remove stuff though - it might not work on some of the other kinds. I'm glad I bought this magnet tank cleaner!

The product worked really well and cleaned my tank good. The only problem is it’s hard to store and get clean. So finding a sanitary way to store was hard. The other thing was you need to be so so careful when using this. The magnets Can sometimes separate when using even if your not meaning too. When mine did my fish swam by and the magnets connected and hit my fish. My fish was okay but it was so scary seeing him almost get crushed. It’s a good product but just be careful and very aware that it could come apart and make sure your fish are away from it.

Not a bad product, but I’ve seen better. The magnets are not as strong as other brands that I’ve had before. I guess that why it was less expensive.

I'm happy. I already had a pair of magnet cleaners that I thought were designed for the 1/2" glass on my 120 gallon aquarium, but they did a marginal job on the soft algae and barely touched the dark green algae spots at all. I tried this set, and it's a world of difference. Much greater magnetism, and it cleans the soft stuff in a single pass, and the tough spots after just a few passes. Goes around corners easily. The handle makes maneuvering simple. The scrubbing pad works so well that I've had no reason to try the scraper attachments.

Whatever you do, don't use the plastic attachment on your tank. I did and it left scratch marks inside everywhere on my 125 gallon tank. Not very thrilled as this tank was not cheap.

Easy to use, works as described

This aquarium glass cleaner is really good. The magnet is really really strong. Watch your fingers between the the two halves of the cleaner. I recommend this glass cleaner for your aquarium.
