MerrellMen's Moab 3 Walking Shoe

I am a big fan of Merrell trekking shoes but cannot always justify forking out the big bucks for them (although they are well priced compared to their competitors). My love for Merrell's is born from having several pairs that always fit well, last a long time and look good all at the same time. I was well pleased to find these on Amazon USA and as I was not in a hurry, happy to wait a few extra days for delivery. Well worth the wait. A great choice of colours too.

Merrell's have always been super comfortable and have a perfect fit, without needing that 'break-in' period where either your foot or your shoe defeats the other. That these come in Wide make it extra comfortable for myself.The WP / Gore-tex layer has kept the melting snow from reaching me, though as light hikers (and non-mids), gaiters are need to avoid snow getting into the socks.Great stuff.

Bought 3 pairs of this style shoe in different colors. Only one fit properly but in the color I didn't like. Never did get shoe in cor wanted due to sizing being to big in other colors.

#1 These are the most comfortable Merrells I have ever owned.#2 The style is just perfect! Only exception I can think of is the laces - they're great, but I would have made them match the midsole -- black with white specs vs white with black specs-- but I could always switch the laces if I wanted to that bad-- fact is, I won't at least not for now --#3 the fit is like a glove so to speak - true to size if not a little bit smaller than the usual 10, but the width of the regular D is wide enough in the toe box to allow my wide feet to be able to breathe and not get jammed up against the side with my pinky toe, nor the end with my big toe.#4 durable as the usual heavy duty hikers with the advantage of being very lightweight and as though I am not wearing hiking shoes, not nike ACG running shoes as I normally wear for trail running.#5 Did I mention style? The color combo of black and sand with tan suede -- at first look I was like, "ehh" but I'm so happy I decided to go with this one because in person, they are gorgeous. The pictures don't do them justice. The black midsole is covered in sparkling and the vibram soles are - well the name speaks for itself - but the color is also the perfect compliment to the 2 shades of tan in the suede in the tongue and upper and the light tan mesh lowers and toe box --Overall (especially when I consider that I got them at half price - I would highly recommend - and I am ordering 2 more pairs (at least) for the future - plus 1 pair just for walking around in every day type situations... A++Half size up if you are between sizes, and ENJOY!!!-On belay? Belay ON [✓]™
