I purchased the BenBen Spelling Games set and my daughter absolutely loves it. It’s easy to play, keeps her engaged, and she’s learning at the same time. The flashcards and wooden letters are great quality, and it turns spelling practice into something fun instead of frustrating. The fun lasts for hours and it’s a great learning activity for home. Highly recommend!

We love it at home, and I can easily see it being a great addition to a preschool or kindergarten classroom. My daughter enjoys playing solo, working through the word challenges on the flashcards. She also loves using the letter blocks to build her own words, which really sparks her creativity. As a parent, I love what this is a quiet time activity that she can do on her own Or play with her brother, there is no sound to the game or activity making it perfect for quiet time! When playing as a group, we turn it into a fun race to spell as many words as possible based on the dice roll—so many options for play! The game is easy to set up, simple to comprehend, and thoughtfully designed. The build quality is excellent, with durable materials that can stand up to lots of use. The bright, colorful pictures on the cards are a wonderful touch and really help bring the words to life. Multiple ways to use these as a game. Great for sounding out words, using the wood tiles to fill in the missing letter as well as creating a crossword puzzle. My 6 yo grandsons love all the ways to play and their spelling skills and reading skills are improving greatly. Very durable and variety of words they hear all the time and now can read and spell.

The detail of different colors made it easy for my four year old to spell. He knew what block to get just by looking at the color of the letters on the card and blocks. This is such a useful tool for those who are starting to read. There are two card slots for the flash cards- one where the letters are visible and one where the letters are hidden. I can make it difficult as my child progresses by hiding the letters on the flash cards. The wooden blocks feel high quality. It reminds me of Hape wooden blocks. I like that there are two levels of difficulty in the flash card words as well. And the cards are thick. It also comes with a bag for easy storage. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I am considering of giving this as a gift as well.
