I bought these to use in our two bathrooms, so they would match - but they could be used anywhere in your home. They are sleek, modern, and you can't beat getting TWO for under 30 bucks! They use AA batteries, and we haven't had to replace them and they've been working for months. They silently open when you wave your hand in front of the sensor, and you have the option of keeping them open by pressing the button on the front panel. The size is perfect, and when you put the bags in, they are hidden inside, not wrapped around the rim so they look elegant, and you could put in your living room, even. The main reason I started getting automated trash cans is two-fold. One, you don't have to touch anything to open the can - no germs, and no inconvenient step-lever. The main reason is when you have a closed lid, it keeps smells to a minimum - and I've grown to want that in every trash can I buy, now. They really are better than anything you can get for the price at the local store - and you get TWO!

These trash cans are absolutely spectacular; once you insert the batteries, they instantly make your bathroom feel more comfortable and hygienic. Thanks to the flawless lid—which opens and lifts automatically—the unit remains active at all times. The material is of excellent quality, and to top it all off, it is the perfect size.

This bathroom trash can has actually been outstanding. The automatic lid pops open fast and consistently, so you don’t have to touch anything. The sensor works smoothly without freaking out over every little movement, and the lid closes softly every time. Compared to an open bin, it does a good job of containing odors and fits a bathroom quite nicely. It’s also simple to empty and clean, which makes life easier. Overall, it’s a lovely little upgrade that keeps things cleaner and just makes the space feel a bit more put‑together.

Works as described, just a little too sensitive and opens at times when u aren’t trying to access it. It does keep the dog out of the garbage.

These are the perfect size and the battery lasts for a very long time. Love that the lid closes automatically and is motion activated to open. Works great.

Our cats would knock over and get into the trash cans. They can't knock these over. This is a great product! Highly recommend. It's sleek design. Not heavy at all. A great item for the price. I was skeptical at first but I would definitely buy again!
