Beautiful book!

This book is just lovely.

Wonderfully produced publication with a high quality finish, hardback cover has a velvety feel...every page is a full colour photograph, what bliss ! ...the majority of images are a collection of like families of spoons, set on complementary surfaces, harmonized or contrasting, all so beautifully done...if spoons are an interest, then this is a lovely book...spoons vary from simple to complex, crude, functional, practical, quirky, exquisite, beautiful..a mix of basic materials, twigs, carved wood/shells, metals, glass, ceramic etc ...fascinating.....one does feel rather spoiled, so desire more and more variety to enjoy on reaching the end of the book, as so rich a history in spoon design and function...but I understand this is a personal collection of the author/designer, so rather lovely to be the owner of the contents of this book of course..but a broader look into the source material would be additive and beneficial as such a vast array of this subject matter exists.....so if like me, time to get to the museums and design shops and see more delightful spoons and seek out their origins and history etc..as little, if any written information in this book...so time to research if that is important to the reader..

Un libro d’arte, adorabile. Viene mostrata una piccola parte della collezione di cucchiaini dell’autore, foto a pagina intera in alta risoluzione con anche ingrandimento di alcuni dettagli dei pezzi più particolari. È suddiviso in sezioni in base ai materiali di fattura dei cucchiaini mostrati (metallo, corno, madreperla, legno,...). La qualità della carta è superba, ottima la stampa e anche la rilegatura è ben fatta. Se siete amanti del vintage e delle collezioni è un libro che non può mancare nella vostra libreria.
