Sure, this things will hold pens and pencils, but it looks like someone stepped on them. One side of the lip is bent on each of the two cups. One of the cups also has a deformity near the bottom. This one also wobbles back and forth. It looks to me like somewhere in the manufacturing process these cups were dropped and quality control didn't see the problem.Edited to add: The manufacturer sent new ones free of charge that were in perfect condition. Excellent customer service. I've changed my review from 1 to 5 stars.

Perfect little "catch all" cup for the office. I was using a red solo cup but the angled sides are jot ideal for holding a bunch of pens and pencils. This cup has straight sides which allows me to pack them in.

Very good quality. My Great Grandson Lil Ray plays with this all the time. He throws it around and it holds up to him. Would buy again.
