INCREDIBLE HULK VOL. 1: AGE OF MONSTERS

What can I say about this book ever since all Ewing took over the Hulk and did his immortal hulk run then Donnie cates stepped in and did his thing Hulk just gets better and better now Hulk unleashed from the prison that Banner Created free from the torture of incessant prodding and pain. He is once again free and here we see a terrified, solemn, broken banner at the realization of what he’s done and what he’s unleashed as he teams up none other than Wolverine. to track down monsters that are emerging across the United States this book is incredible. It’s set with the same kind of horror tone that immortal hulk had and my only complaint is the book wasn’t longer.

This is the hulk i want- demand in a Hollywood blockbuster movie! This is the duality between hulk and bruce that marvel has never cared about in film and would thrive from delving into and they would make millions!

I was hesitant to get this because I thought the story was "too far out there" but I really like it. It definitely puts the 'monster' aspect back into his mythos. The art is incredible. The transformation panels are detailed and grotesque, moreso than I can ever remember seeing. I bought the second volume already.

Now this is a true sequel to the immortal hulk series and a vast improvement over the last volume. The new villains are eerie and the hulk's new look suits him.

I'm glad to have another horror series for the Hulk. Al Ewing did great things with the Hulk in a horror setting, and PKJ seems capable of doing the same. The story is pretty good so far, and the new characters are interesting. Can't wait for more.

How do people keep coming up with such brilliant takes on what the Hulk represents and the next crazy arc of what he should go through!?Phillip Kennedy Johnson envisions another terrifying and amazingly fresh take on the character! He is accompanied by artists (Klein, Foreman, Wilson,) that truly sell everything that makes this book stand out!

excellent stories and nice art, great new take on the Hulk

Philipp Kennedy Johnson kann tolle Horrorcomics ("Aliens") und Superheldencomics ("Action Comics") schreiben. Nach Bruce Jones und Al Ewing macht er aus dem unglaublichen Hulk wieder eine Horrorserie und ich gebe zu, so gefällt er mir mitunter am besten. Nur Peter David und Greg Pak konnten mich mit dem Hulk als Helden begeistern.Leider ist der erste Band von Kennedys Run sehr langweilig geraten und bietet nicht wirklich etwas Neues. Banner und Hulk mögen sich mal wieder nicht. Ein junges Mädchen begleitet sie, ein paar Monster tauchen auf, werden verdroschen, etwas großes, Böses kündigt sich an, etc. Irgendwie hat es das alles schon mal gegeben und Kennedy, der mich wie gesagt sonst begeistern konnte, schreibt die Geschichte zudem sehr schleppend.Ich hatte große Erwartungen an seine neue Serie, die aber leider enttäuscht wurden.

I wanted to give rhus book 3.5 stars. The final issue/chapter dropped it down for me. This is a lot better than the weird space/Multiverse Hulk. I can see the horror style fitting the Hulk. There are definitely aspects of the Immortal Hulk here as well.Bruce Banner managed to lock the Hulk in his mind, using the Hulk's rage and pain to fuel starship Hulk. Now, the Hulk wants to their body all too himself. As Bruce battles the Hulk in his mind, an army of monsters have been unleashed to take him out. What is their connection to the Hulk himself?I like the more brutal and bloody fights, I hated the Blair Witch Project style last story. That dropped the rating of the book down for me. Though I am interested to see what happens next. The book finishes with a varient covers gallery.
