which is an indication of bad power. I never got this with the standard ...
Bought these because they were listed as being 2.5 AMPS for the higher needs of the Raspberry Pi 3. I use OSMC, and after installing, I start seeing a lightening bolt on the KODI screen, which is an indication of bad power. I never got this with the standard Pi3 PS. I tried both of the power supplies I ordered with the same results, and even turned off overclocking, just to see. I'll be sending these back. 2 stars for the on/off switch.I've also noticed increased video interference, so I'm thinking they are not as shielded as they should be.

Pretty good SBC cord
This is just your standard power cord for a Raspberry computer or similar SBC (single board computer) that requires 2.5 amps. Check your SBC's documentation to see if that's how much it needs. This cord has a helpful button on it to turn your device on and off. There's not much to say about it. Very good cord if you need it.

odd on/off behavior between the switch and the Pi
The on-off switch on this does something weird with the USB interface to the Raspberry Pi. The unit does not act like a traditional on/off switch - you have to reset it each time you power up. This makes this power supply unsuitable for projects like magic mirrors.

Works, switch could be improved
The power supply cord I received has one button that toggles the power on and off. My only dislike with it is that the button has zero indication if the power is on or off. I would have preferred either an LED light for 'on' or more simply a toggle switch with '-' and 'o' would have worked fine. otherwise the item works fine. A little short for most uses.

I have been using this power plug for a bit now as I wanted to give a real and fair review. I am very pleased with this power switch, I have had no issues and it works just like its supposed too....

this power supply cannot handle a raspberry pi with a screen
I bought this to power a raspberry pi 3B+ with 7 inch touchscreen. I have been using a 2.4A power supply that works just fine, but when I tried the Goldso power supply, I got the lightning bolt icon as described by other reviewers. I would have liked to have the convenient on/off button, but this power supply cannot handle a raspberry pi with a screen.

These are my go to power cables for raspberry pi. No extra connections to fail and no far no issues with of them. Ive purchases many of these
