These are a game changer!
Love these! These have extended my success with my wholefood plantbased life which has changed my life, thanks to plantbasedjan documentaries, youtube videos, etc. I'm off my meds, have dropped 40#, and love my new lifestyle. The soy curls can be used in 'clam chowder', BBQ 'chicken' salad, BBQ 'chicken' summer sandwiches, etc. They take on the flavors easily of what you make it to be, getting your needed protein, etc. and offer the texture we all desire from the standard American Diet (SAD). Love these!

Excellent product. I'm sold
These are excellent. Unprocessed, super healthy, easy to hydrate. Could not be more convenient or easy to use. My husband (NOT vegan) even liked them and he compared them to chicken! I am new to this but I've read that if you're not going to use them soon after purchase you should freeze them.

amazingly versatile & make cooking easy
i have seen many recipes and vegan threads praising this product. it had been on a list of mine to try and i'm so glad that i did. so far, i have made some easy stir fry's and this product couldn't be easier to work with. just hydrate & cook as you would with tofu or any other protein of choice. i especially like the chew texture it has and the flavor on its own is great - and it's also very good at taking on any flavor or seasoning you choose. a week after buying one bag, i decided i needed to have more in my pantry - so i bought the 3-pack. my gripe with this is that the box the 3-pack was stuffed in was a bit too small...and i say "stuffed" bc it required someone to "stuff" it all in to fit. i understand that a little crumble is expected with shipping & handling, but the 3 bags have noticeably more "crumble" at the bottom than my single bag had upon arrival...so buying more at one time may seem more cost-effective, but my experience was that the product was slightly damaged. i hope the company rethinks the packaging and chooses another method to preserve the quality of the product when shipping. i can probably use the added crumble for tacos, but there are a lot of crumble products out there to choose from if i was wanting that texture. with that all said - i highly recommend it for anyone incorporating plant-based proteins in their diet.

easy to make!
Very easy to make! Soak in warm water about 20 minutes, squeeze out as much water as you can. Can be fried, deep fried, baked, whatever. They are awesome for substituting for chicken in a dish. I love them in Asian dishes. Texture is very appealing. Takes on whatever flavors you have in the meal. I have soaked more than I needed in the past and just kept the leftover in a plastic bag in the fridge and used it within a few days and it was perfect and it was nice to be able to skip the soaking stage!

Very good.
These are great. They're easy to use and can go into many different dishes; I learned about them from a YouTube channel called Well Your World. Omnivore family members can't tell the soy curls from chicken.I now buy them straight from Butler and skip the middlebezos.

Tasty, but too many crumbles in my bag
Unbeatable, satisfying texture! The soy curls are as easy to prepare as TVP (rehydrate and optionally saute/bake, etc.), but with ten times better flavor, texture, and versatility. However, I'm disappointed in the amount of tiny fragments and crumbles (basically TVP-sized) in the bag I received. I had very high expectations of quality based on reviews and online recipes, but I only have a handful or so of intact curls in my bag. I know that the size doesn't influence the "flavor", but I had been hoping for a higher proportion of large pieces, especially considering the higher price of this brand. The intact curls did cook up just as wonderfully as I had hoped, and of course the small chips and crumbs were just fine to cook with, too. I wonder if the bag got smooshed in shipping/transit, and I assume the product would be more intact if I could find it in a local store.
