The item is solid and works as indicated. It has been taking me some practice to get consistent with jerky strips. It is easy to use just takes a bit to work on the technique and getting familiar with the different type of ground meat textures. Unfortunately, I purchased it and then it went down in price, but other than my bad timing I am enjoying experimenting with different seasonings.

Not my first squeezer.I have used this to make sticks and strips. It is a very good design. Cleanup is easy both ends come off the tube the squeeze handle disassembles and it is dishwasher safe so it is easy to clean uses flat silicone washers that are easy to replace. Even the meat pushing plunger unscrews so you can keep it clean.My second rave about this product is its strength/?power. My hands are very weak but I am able to use this device. I feel it takes about 1/3 as much hand strength as my famous name brand squeezer that is supposed to do cookies as well.There is an issue I had to work around. My reduced hand strength makes it difficult for me to hold any thing heavy so i put a ring on the plastic handle and use a strap designed for a shoulder bag like a sling to support the weight of the filled squeezer while i use it.I recommend this product

I bought this for making treats for my dogs and cats. The all natural treats with no additives or preservatives are getting stupid expensive. Just for a 48 oz bag of my dog's favorite jerky is almost $30. I have found that making my own treats in my dehydrator saves me right around $12 per batch. In the photos I am adding the finished product. So now for the jerky gun review.It is perfect for what I am doing. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. It's also very easy to clean. The gasket is a common size that could be replaced pretty easy when this one reaches the end of its life. I love that it comes with so many attachments. Because I am trying to keep my cost per treat down I switch between different heads. Please see photos above. I tried to make some of these jerky strips thin enough to crumble them into smaller pieces so that my cats can also enjoy some homemade treats. The handle itself has plastic parts but I have used it now 6 different batches of treats and it holds up pretty well. As far as bang for your buck, I feel like I got a great deal . It comes with multiple brush sizes to clean the multiple head tools. Just as it states it holds 2 pounds of finely ground meat. The only improvement I feel could be expanded upon as seen in the picture, With the excess meat in the head tool, is that the plunger included with this jerky gun, fits the gun perfect, but does NOT quite fit the nozzle head, meaning there's always a little bit of meat leftover I simply roll it into a small meatball. If I had to purchase another one I would definitely look for something with all stainless steel parts. But I realize I would be paying a much higher price. Now that I know that I can save right around $12 per 48 oz treats made and I can control the ingredients, This tool will definitely be used weekly.

They could have included Churro tips!! The kids love to eat them! Simple to make and easy to eat!! Good sized gun and materials!

No issues whatsoever. This is easy to load, easy to squeeze the trigger, and really easy to clean afterwards. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking to purchase one.

I make about 2 lbs/week of beef jerky for neighborhood dogs. Unseasoned, ground lean beef. Dogs pull their owners to my door and won't leave until they get their treat.This "cannon" works great! The only weakness I've found is the large bottle brush for cleaning the main chamber. In my opinion it's too soft, too short, and too bendable. I just bought a 13" Unger flexible glass and bottle brush (for a few bucks on Amazon) that works great.The cannon has already paid for itself many times over (making my own treats at 1/5th of the store price).

Even though this is sold for making jerky, it is a fantastic device for stuffing sausage and pasta. The two round tube attachments make it nice for stuffing small and large items, and the length is adequate for even the longest manicotti. The stainless steel construction makes it sturdy and easy to clean and I like that it comes with different sized brushes for the different tube attachments. It gets pretty heavy when it is full of stuffing material but if you can handle a caulking gun it will not be a problem.
