Nice looking, easy to install, good instructions. Battery last 3 months the first time but maybe just the battery rather than its usage

I have a quite a you yale deadbolts they work great this one for some reason just would not line up with the screws. I had purchased two of them. Both of them did the same thing I had to return both. Definitely would buy a yellow lock, but not this particular one.

Never worked, missing pieces.

Great door lock works as advertised

Ordered 2 of these on Amazon instead of Lowes because of the special color, but both came in oiled bronze instead. Door sense doesn't work in a metal door. Which means autolock doesn't work. Device got jammed while unlocking and only partially unlocked, then was stuck and would not lock or unlock. Keypad stopped responding and only worked via app at that time. With the wifi version the guest mode via app grants users the ability to unlock from anywhere, you cannot restrict it to just bluetooth so they must be nearby. The app works pretty well. Ended up returning and getting a Kwikset smart lock, as it works in a metal frame because it doesn't rely on the doorsense. Customer support answered on a saturday, that was cool. The auto unlock via geofencing worked well. The passage feature is nice, so you can disable autolock for awhile if you are in and out a bunch.

This smart lock is handy for someone like me who doesn’t like to carry around keys. The app is helpful and useful and I've found the system easy to navigate. My boyfriend installed it by himself and it works great. I highlighted recommend!

YALE ASSURE LOCK 2 model with Oil Rubbed Bronze. The outside faceplate touchscreen size is , by my measure, 3-1/2 inches HIGH x 2-1/2 inches WIDE. This is too small and doesn’t cover the area sufficiently of the existing plate of my INITIAL intended door location. The facing page plus pages 4 and 5 have warnings that could prevent compatibility and installation of the lock assembly. Those pages are supplied and included in the pictures section. The Installation Instructions are very detailed. The Manual covers about any situation that can be encountered with installation. Where there is doubt, the manufacturer states the unit will not fit. I like that the company puts that information in instructions avoiding unnecessary wasted effort trying to make something fit that a design does nor accommodate. The lock capabilities are good for a family. Each person can have their entry code using something familiar to them. One time access codes can be used, left in system or erased. This unit was supplied with the Optional “ Smart Module “. This feature, called DoorSense tells you if the door is closed or open. Voice Assistant can be used with lock. Owner can be recognized and door opened with Auto-Unlock. Passage Mode disables the Auto-Lock for extended period. Button push in lock turns ON and LOCK door to turn OFF. FOR ALL features to function and lock to operate smoothly the installation process important to assure no obstruction is left to prevent the slide bolt ease of movement. This is my third Yale lock and it doesn’t disappoint! Yale is the best of the best in keyless locks. The bronze has a great sleek look to it on the outside while a little bulkier on the interior side. 4 backside finger press on display brings up the touchpad illumination to unlock by codes, otherwise it’s dark. Hardware install was easy with great written instructions and fabulous online app instructions that included step by step videos! Software step up was just a little tricky for me as my older larger Yale locks stepped you through software and code setup by voice control on the lock while this one sets up through app. But after a quick look at the online help a couple times, I was fine. This lock has a wifi unit which is great, you can unlock lock door with phone from remote locations. Comes with open close door sensor which I have not installed yet. There are plenty of locking options you can set up through the app. On my older Yale locks manual locking upon leaving is a 4 finger press on display while this one is by single finger touching the Yale emblem on the display which is not as convenient to me but on my older locks I have inadvertently brushed against display upon entering activating bar lock while swinging door shut having bar hit frame and this will prevent that from happening. My only small gripes is that the display could be a little brighter for when in bright sunlight, and this lock does not have a dead battery access port for a 9 volt battery one time open, but these locks always tell you when they are getting low and I have never had to use this feature on my other locks. This lock is also compatible with SMARTTHINGS hub and was easy to set up with all my house routines in Smartthings. This lock is very nice, has a great slim sleek profile and I would highly recommend.
