Magnetic Sheet Roll for Crafts, Signs, Display - Flexible 24" X 30" Magnet

Installed new MW oven over range.. didn't like all the black frame exposed. Thought about paint or tape and viewed this magnetic product in white to match cabinets. It looks GREAT and was easy to cut to shape.

This is probably an excellent buy for someone looking to make lots of small and light refrigerator magnet items, etc. It's a sheet of magnetized plastic that can be cut up and decorated in endless ways. For home projects, kids' parties, and other similar events, it's likely a very good purchase. I bought it for a rather unusual reason--I wanted to cover a vent that's on my office door--the door is metal. The vent measures 12" by 24", and this sheet, I thought, would be perfect to slap over it without resorting to metal sheets and bolts. And ultimately it worked. But I must say, it took some time to straighten out the curled up sheet to the point were its very weak magnetism would stick to the metal door. In the process, I discovered that the plastic sheet is not very durable--it very easily cracks and splits. So one has to be very careful opening and flattening it out if you want to avoid permanent tears and creases. And it only sticks on the dark side (which is unfortunate since my metal door is the same dark brown as the sheet. So instead the white side is now visible.) But it works, it's covering the vent and, of course, it's completely removable. I used this magnet to make an outdoor interchangeable signs for my mom and this magnet was so strong it held up during a HURRICANE! 100% impressed

It's easy to say that over the hundreds of orders I've placed over the years on Amazon, this was by far the worst. I have some rather strong magnets, and they would just slide off at the slightest touch or vibration. I was hoping to be able to stick magnets to this, but I honestly don't think they would stay on unless it was in a pressurized compartment behind some heavy duty security to prevent any sort of disruption. The only thing that prevented me from throwing it away within 10 minutes of opening it was that my daughter is going to try to do something with it.The material did feel nice & sturdy. I'll give it that.

I had no idea what thickness of magnetic sheeting to use for magnetic vehicle signs. This product is 0.020" thick. It unrolled fine and after a few days laying flat it stayed flat. The 0.020" thickness is not magnetic enough to really stay attached to a car at highway speeds. I don't see this as a fault of the product, as it clearly says how thick it is. I'm going to try 0.030" sheeting and see if I have better results. Super fast shipping.

I use it to cover up the air intake vents in my house. It has just the right stickiness for this purpose. My vents are vertical, but I do believe you can use them for ceiling vents as long you have a flat surface without screws, etc.

I am using this product in a glassless window frame that I have turned into a bulletin board. In each space I am inserting either cork, chalkboard paper or the magnetic product backed by cardboard, this will serve as a bulletin board of sorts. However, I can't get the magnetic rolled product to lay flat so I can put it in the frame. Right now I have attached it to the side of the refrigerator and will keep it there for a few days to see if it will flatten enough to insert in the window frame. If that doesn't work I will try spray adhesive to see if I can glue it to a piece of baker board cut to size. Will update this review later after I complete my project.

Used for blocking out the logo on my work vehicle so that I can park at my condo. It works great. I take it off and put it back on everyday, even in the rain, and I haven't had an issue yet.
