I gave my betta this new "penthouse" and he loves it! It was super easy to set up and he found it right away!

This small negative pressure tank arrives in a branded cardboard box with the plastic cube, 3 hangers, and a slip of instructions.The hangers only fit on a rimless tank which is a disappointment but I may try it with only two of the hangers. They work by hanging on the tank and then you screw the plastic screw onto the glass to tighten it down in place. Then you take the cube and either put it onto the hangers directly and siphon out the air with a hose or you can fill it with water and pick it up, upside down and place it onto the hangers while in the water.Overall, it works great but it's a shame that none of these are compatible with rimmed tanks.

It looks very cool, my betta fish loves to explore so I knew he would go in it right away. But you have to be careful with this product. After I got it set up I was concerned with the safety so I searched it up and multiple fish forums online said do not do this it’s not safe or a good idea. If you really want to try it o ut a black cover over the top so your fish knows they can’t surface there and get oxygen if they’re labyrinth breathers. If you leave oxygen at the top that could get stale very quick. It’s also a lot of weight to add to the corners of the tank. If your water level is uneven it can put extra stress on the sides of your tank and blow the tank out and will break or it will leak. Also it is plastic and it got very dirty looking after half a day and cleaning the tank is a pain with this on and also cleaning this would be worse. I don’t think it’s worth it. I couldn’t get it to fit on my rimmed tanks.

The product does not work well with smaller tanks and the water will leak out. I tried to return said product and was disappointed. Amazon would not allow me to return this item. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

I got suckered into this one. You can’t raise the water level above the level of the water in the existing tank. The videos must be made up . I thought when I first ordered it well that’s cool should have known will be returning it Very disappointed.

I filled it up almost all the way but left some air in it since bettas are labyrinth fish and I want him to have access to air at all surfaces, it stays suctioned in and I added his betta log, he goes in it all the time, its his new favorite spot.
