Easy to overwrite messages.
Great gift. I bought several of these for work. They are a lot of fun. Audio can get staticky. It would be nice to have an input Mic or holes in the case to not muffle the words. This button has an on/off switch on the back and you press once to play or hold down about 3 seconds to record. All in all a great little gadget.

For my special needs son to use for communication
My wife and I purchased these to program with commands my non-verbal autistic son could use to communicate with us. They work perfectly. I recorded my voice saying "another bite please" to use when I'm feeding him. Whenever he is ready for another bite, he just hits the button to ask for another bite. Exactly what I wanted it for and definitely cheaper than some of the other recordable buttons I've looked into. Now that I know that it's a great product, I will be purchasing more to expand his communication options. The sound quality isn't perfect but it is clear and it doesn't sound garbled. Thank you so much!

Love this button, using at work to say “thank you.”
In the hospital where I work I am making frequent deliveries. Like more than 30 per day. I am constantly saying “thank you “. Most of the time I can be back out the door before I am finished with my thank you. I ordered this button and recorded “thank you and have nice day.” We are having so much fun with this button and it has brought us more smiles and laughs than I can count. Now everyone is using the button and loves it. It comes without instructions but just hold down the button, record, and release. Easy to understand and is a hoot!

Great for money - excellent sound quality and easy set up
Super easy to use I loved it I used it for a Darth Vader soundbite under a costume (hidden in his glove)...it was bought to replace noises when the sound box could not be located that the costume originally came withIt was great! All Darth had to do was press his glove against his side and it would go offIt sounded perfect

Not the best design
This is not an effective voice output device for someone who has movement control issues. The button must be released for the voice recording to activate. Otherwise the recording function will be activated if the button is held down too long, erasing the intended voice output word or phrase. Not happy.

Bad Audio Quality
I bought two of these type of items from two different sellers. Of course I know that they will not produce good sound quality, but this one was so bad you could not make out the words easily. Works as described, but does not have the quality I would have liked.

It is too easy to re-record over the one message you get. That's why 4 not 5 stars.

Fun if like me you’re tired of always repeating yourself, sound is ok, not excellent. Still fun purchase.

Work as advertised and instructions are easy to understand
Hopefully my dog will eventually learn to press it himself. He is looking at it with greater interest when we press it, and he responds to our pre-recorded voice prompt for "go out". Fingers crossed!The button works well, batteries are still going strong. Seems relatively sturdy, at least for our usage, though a very rambunctious larger dog could probably damage it.
