This Anker Prime power bank is in a league of its own. I've been using it daily since May 2024, and its performance has been flawless. Functionality & Performance: This is where it truly shines. I’ve been living with this brick for a few weeks, and it’s officially replaced two things on my desk and in my backpack: my old 65 W wall charger and the chunky power bank I used to carry “just in case.” Here’s why it’s sticking around. Raw power in a carry-on-safe package 200 W total output (two USB-C, one USB-A) means I can push 100 W into my MacBook Air and still have 100 W left to split between an iPhone and iPad. Anker 100 W input on recharge, so topping the pack itself takes a little over an hour if you have a 100 W charger, or just drop it on the included base and walk away. Anker Dock life = desk life The magnetic base is the secret sauce. At home, it lives on my nightstand, acting like a tiny charging station, same ports, same speeds. Grab the pack, pop it off the pogo pins, and I’m out the door with 200 W in my hand. Nerdy extras I use Real-time OLED read-out for watts in/out and capacity. Freakishly satisfying to watch a laptop gulp 96 W. Trickle-charge mode for AirPods (double-tap the power button). Anker’s ActiveShield 2.0 temp management kicks the fan in the dock if things get toasty. Haven’t heard it once, but it’s there. Trade-offs Price – It’s premium. If you just need to juice a phone, this is overkill. Weight – About a pound in the hand; not crazy for 20 k mAh, but you’ll notice it in a sling bag. No wireless pad on top – A Qi coil would have been chef’s-kiss, but I’ll trade that for the higher port power any day. Bottom line If your kit includes USB-C laptops plus phones/tablets and you bounce between desk, coffee shop, and plane seats, this is an all-in-one charger that earns its space. I have purchased many Anker products ranging from power banks to cables, earbuds adn many many more. OThe PowerCore 10000 maH charger that I purchased in 2016 still holds about half its capacity and I stil keep it in my car for emergency. I used many powerbanks over years, recently, I was on market for high capacity , high wattage chargers for cahrging phones, tablet and laptops as all my devices support charging Via USB C. I tried some cheaper products recently and none of them were upto the mark, so I wanted to try my Trusted brand. I got this cahrger, charged fully. Couple of good points - It charges at 100 W (slightly lower but close) Its not as bulky It shows lot of valuable information eg. Wattage per port etc. which can be used to validate teh charding rating of devices adn power adapters It feels adn looks very premium However, I am very disaapointed with the capacity, it says 20000 mah. I tried to charge my phone rated at 5000 mah and buut the time it wwas 100%, the power bank drained 50% which tells me that the capacity is actually 10000 mah Phone supports upto 35W charging but the maximum rate I saw was hovering around 21 W When I tried to charge another phone via 2nd USB C port the rating on both dropped to 10W each. Technically, each port should charge upto 100 W or atleast at teh max rating that the phone can charge This is very disappointing. I will give it another try after completely charging again and test on laptop/tablet as well and see if it holds. I purchased another charger that is 35% of the cost with same capacity. It has 80% of advertized capacity and cahrges devices at the rated wattage. It is definitely a let down by the brand I trusted and used over years. Will update after a few days of usage. ---------------------------- Tried couple of charge/discharge cycles not even able to charge Galaxy S22 Ultra 2 times.

I’ve owned the Anker Prime Power Bank (20,000mAh with 200W output and the smart digital display) for a couple of years now, and it continues to be one of the best tech purchases I’ve made. This power bank has gone with me on road trips, flights, long workdays, and everything in between, and it’s held up incredibly well. What first sold me on it was the combination of high capacity and high output. With 20,000mAh and up to 200W of total output, it can charge just about anything I throw at it—my phone, iPad, and even my MacBook Pro. Dropping it on the dock to recharge makes the whole setup feel seamless and organized. But even on its own, the power bank is a workhorse. If you’re looking for something that’s powerful, reliable, and built to last, this is it. Anker nailed the balance of performance and usability here. After years of use, I can say with confidence that it’s absolutely worth the investment. Super portable and not too heavy at all!

**UPDATE** 10/30/25 After contacting customer service, I was pleasantly surprised to be actually assisted by the company. They asked a couple of questions and warranty kicked in. I was not mocked by anker like one of the customers here thank goodness. This entire process has been resolved quickly and easily. The very beginning of this purchase journey was very weird (first item received was clearly defective AND the box it arrived in made me believe I was being scammed) but atlas it ended in the greatest possible way. Upgrading from 1 star to 5 star. **UPDATE** 10/27/25 Downgrading from 3 to 2 star. Less than a year in to using this item and now it's refusing to charge fully. 114 cycles with 95% battery health. Sometimes it would charge to 100, other times it stops charging and the indicator arrow would show that it's charging, then the arrow disappears and it seems to reset it again where it starts to charge (numbers starts to climb then it stops again) Contacted customer support, let's see if they mock me or stand behind their product. So I had to return the initial item because it wouldn't charge. It stated something about over voltage and no matter what I did, it wouldn't turn on or charge the device. So, I returned it and requested a replacement. The replacement item arrived and it works fine but I noticed the box the replacement came in was different from the faulty item. The faulty item's box was your normal box where you open it from the top with the flap (one piece). The second item which works came in a more premium feeling box (thicker and different finish) and it was two pieces (like the box of an iphone comes in, you separate it from top to bottom). Inside was the same, warning booklet, usb c cable, and travel case made of cloth. So did Anker update/change the box and I happened to receive the updated one 2nd time around? Or was this some sort of scam? Not sure but I thought it was interesting. Not sure if 3 star or 4 but I feel like I was almost scammed so I'm going to stick with 3.

The only flaws are it's heavy .. yes it has more weight than I expected or anyone would actually want , but you definitely know you have a quality built portable battery charger .. no doubt .. it's durable ( dropped mine a few times ) BUT .. the Display Side is glass ( has a nice coating to avoid scratches if you just toss it in a backpack or purse without a case or cover ) so it will definitely will scare you if you drop the unit .. ( if it falls more higher than your waist height, on a hard surface ( concrete / asphalt / outside parking lot ( the glass display will more than likely crack , or break ) .. Overall great product 9 out of 10 .. Performs as advertised ... Works fantastic .. But weight is on the heavy side and beware of the glass display ( try not to drop on hard surface concrete asphalt outside) ..

Just received this one, the latest in a number of power banks I've purchased from Anker over the years. I wanted one with enough power to charge a laptop on the go, among other things, and this will do it. I did not purchase the high-power charging base, because I already have an Anker 727, and an Anker cable rated for 100 watts. When I received the power bank, it had only 7% of charge on the battery. This is perfect, because it gave me a chance to test the charging performance right away. Within a few seconds of connecting the power bank to the 727, the charge rate kicked up to near the full 100w power, and charging stayed here for about 15 minutes, before the temperature regulation kicked in, and reduced the charge rate to a still-respectable 50 watts. By then, the power bank was near 40% full. It took less than 90 minutes for it to go the rest of the way to full charge. Now, with great power, comes great heat, so be careful. Even with properly-rated cables, the cable will get a little warm, but the plug ends will get very warm--almost hot. So, be careful when handling it, and be careful not to keep it near anything heat sensitive. This also means you need to choose your charging cables carefully, and a short cable, properly rated, comes in the package. As a giver of power, rather than a receiver of power, it seems to be up to almost any task I throw at it. On its own, it will power my laptop (and charge its own internal battery) for about 90-120 minutes. As a cell phone charger, I estimate that I could get about four full charge cycles off of it. Small USB devices will run forever (well, almost). The size is manageable. It's densely packed with batteries, so expect it to have some weight to it. Overall, I have a good first impression of the pack. I'm hopeful that I can get a few years of good service out of it.

After using it a handful of times over the past week, I noticed that the battery seemed to be draining REALLY fast when the only thing it was charging was my phone. Like, it went from 100% down to below 70% after only charging my phone 30%. My phone has a 4000mAh battery, so I thought this surely couldn't be right. So, here's what I did: 1: I completely drained the battery by using it to charge my laptop (so that it would drain faster.) 2: After it stopped charging my laptop and displayed 0%, I plugged it into a 45W wall charger. 3: I kept checking the display on the power bank to see if I noticed anything... odd. 4: Once the power bank hit 80%, it started climbing REALLY fast, but the incoming wattage stayed the same. That certainly seemed odd. 5: After the display showed 100%, I left it plugged in for another 30 minutes. (Also, after the first 10 minutes passed, it still felt warm, like it was actually still charging.) 6: After 30 minutes, the power bank felt cooler to the touch, so I suspect it finally stopped charging. 7: When my phone was running low again, I charged it with the power bank again, and the display seems MUCH more accurate now (after charging my phone 30%, the power bank's display shows 95% remaining, which seems more realistic.) Review: I wanted a power bank that was capable of giving my laptop a quick boost without being a bulky monstrosity. I was debating between this one and the Anker 737, and ultimately decided on this one mostly due to it being a little more compact (with slightly less capacity, of course) and also liked the idea that I could charge two supported devices at a full 100W each at the same time, if needed. First impressions are good. It's compact enough to stow away easily in my backpack while also providing a generous 20,000mAh, which is plenty for my needs. It comes with a nice, soft travel pouch, and a USB-C to USB-C cable that's rated for 140W. It does NOT come with its own charging brick (I knew this ahead of time, but it's something to be aware of.) I used an Anker 65W charger to charge this up, and it did pull the full 65W and charged up nice and quick. The bottom of the power bank is actually magnetic. I accidentally discovered this when I set it down on my metal filing cabinet. This is likely to keep it attached to the optional charging dock, so that's good to know. The display is nice and informative. It'll show more information with multiple button presses, and also let's you change some settings (screen timeout, brightness.) I tested this out on my laptop - an Asus ROG Zephyrus G15. Its USB-C ports are rated for 100W max, and the display on the power bank was showing between 97 and 98 Watts, so for me, it worked as expected. With my phone (a OnePlus 7 Pro) it was only pulling about 8 Watts, but this phone uses a proprietary charging standard and only charges at full speed with its own branded charging brick. Charging speed will depend on your device, so if it uses a different standard or anything, you might not see the full 100 Watts. I'd check your devices' specs before purchasing. Being 20,000mAh, this probably won't fully charge my laptop (I also knew this ahead of time) but it's plenty for a quick boost when I need it. I'm a frequent road-tripper and find myself off the grid often, so this will be a great travel companion that doesn't take up too much space in my bag.
