GoSports Soft Skin Foam Playground Dodgeballs - Set of 6 Includes Mesh Carry Bag

We buy a lot of this type of dodge ball for our elementary school and these are the most economical and yet high quality I have found. We use them indoors and out and yes, eventually the outside skin does begin to rip no matter how and when you use them. But they do last quite a long time - with daily use I'd say we replace them twice a year. That to me is good value, especially since a six pack at the PE vendors can run you over $100. The kids love them and they are soft - really not painful to be hit with one unless it's on the face.

These balls are made from soft foam and not inflatable. No pump needed, and they will not deflate since they're made from foam. We have had these balls for only a short while, but they seem to be good quality and seem very similar to what we've had previously, and those balls were very good and durable. I bought more because several have gone missing since then. I was a bit surprised at how expensive they are, but that's my only gripe. The outside is somewhat glossy, nice looking and colors are very bright and good looking. You do get a good grip when you grab the ball. We purchased this set for a youth group, and the teens are able to throw the balls quite fast but without hurting anyone who gets hit. The net is great for storing them. It is quite a bit bigger than it has to be, so you can fit several more balls in it, even if the other balls are a larger size than the ones in this set. I was a bit concerned at first with the size of the balls. They are a little bit smaller than a standard soccer ball, but the teens have been very happy with the size. Easy to grab with one hand, easy to throw, nobody with red hurting faces.

These have worked very well. After about 6 months of regular use, they still look like new with no cuts or tears. Their main use has been indoor dodgeball at the end of cub scout meetings, although they have been used outside as well. In scouts, the balls are a good size for 7-10 year old boys, but they are also fun when the dads join in. Although they can be thrown quite fast, when they get up and hit someone in the head or face, it isn't a game ending injury. A few times when a father has hit a scout high, the reply has been "Head shot, doesn't count!" That, coupled with the fact that they magically haven't gotten any surface cuts has impressed me. So, although I still think they are too expensive, 5 stars for a good technology that lets everyone have fun.

Got these for our boys. They love them! Been playing dodgeball for 3 days straight. Made well. Dense enough to throw, not heavy enough to damage anything or hurt anyone. I've been hit in the face multiple times and it doesn't hurt. Nice size too

Hi, I'm a youth pastor and a PE teacher that's reffed more dodgeball games than I can ever possibly remember. I have also used these kinds of dodgeballs for other games too. RHINO SKIN vs GO SPORTS I just received the Go Sports balls. They throw just like the Rhino Skins (RS) and are the same size. I have bought over 60 Rhino Skin balls over the past 8 years. I've seen the quality of the RS balls decline. The first dozen RS balls lasted through 3 years of heavy use! I was impressed with that lifespan! Then, the next Rhino skins would barely make it past a year or two. Our level of play didn't change, and I made sure to take care of the balls to make sure kids weren't purposely trying to tear them up. The last dozen RS balls started to tear up within 6 months of use. I won't by the Rhino skins again. I have NOT had time to see how long the Go Sports dodgeballs will last, but right out of the box, the Go Sports balls skin feels must more durable. I handed a RS ball and a GS ball to a friend and he could immediately feel the difference in quality. I squeezed the GS dodgeball flat a few times in a row and it responded quickly WITHOUT having the foam separate from the skin. That has been a major problem with the RS balls over the past 5 years. They separate from the skins much more quickly than they did years ago (change in quality). I also tried to drive my fingernails throw the skin and could not puncture it. I'll update later on after we've been able to use the Go Sports dodgeballs to see how they've worn over time.

These are the best dodgeballs for kids and youth. They work great with my after school Bible club that has kids from a 6 year old girl to middle school boys. They are soft and light and only sting if one of the baseball pichers nails your arm or exposed skin. We have never broken a window or light fixture even when one of these balls slams against the glass so hard that it rattles. High quality construction too--after many games there is not a single nick or tear in any of them. The net bag it comes with is great too. Not sure if they are regulation size for adult competition games, but they are fun for the leaders too.

My grandsons play dodgeball almost every day at home so I wanted to get a set just like theirs to have at “Grannie’s House.” They are coming to spend a week in July, and guess what we will be playing - dodgeball with the same high quality, durable set that they have at home!

These are a favorite at my school for doge ball. On repeat buy every year.
