Color:Teal Anthony Stoneware is the pottery of Paul Anthony and Tim Jaqua who work from their studio in Western North Carolina using traditional techniques of wheel-throwing and slab construction. Not only do they mix their own glazes, but the pottery is fired in a gas-fired kiln which they designed and built.

Might need to file a rough spot, otherwise amazing!
LOVE this mug so much! You will probably find a spot that will need filing down with a regular nail file. I used it several times before getting g cut from a rough spot I hadn’t noticed before. I get why this might usually result in less stars, but honestly I don’t see how the artist could have noticed this if I used it so many times without issue or awareness...so 5 stars! I literally use this mug every single day and really love it so am confident in rating this with 5 stars!

Nothing special
Nothing special. Mine has no "A" mark on it, but it does have a couple of very small barbs of glaze on it that could cut me open. There are also two more "sharp edges" that although they can't cut me, are uncomfortable when handling. Also I think the finger hole is a bit small. The color is good and the base wide; better to prevent spills from chowderheads of the likes of me. Over-priced about five-fold. I wish I had not bought it.
