Dryer vent cover and hose completed my laundry room look. I like that I can disconnect the hose easily from the wall if I need too.

Like the fact that it’s big enough to cover previous holes from other covers. Comes with all the hardware needed.

Decent product. I had to spend some time getting the pipe coming from laundry room wall in shape to accept the connector (not their fault, but just be aware of additional installation time). I was not able to use the silicon ring they provided, but the plastic sleeve went in incredibly tight for a good connection regardless to the wall piece. Maybe i was fortunate, but the 4 screws went into drywall very securely and snugged the plastic wall piece tight against the wall. I had wall anchors ready just in case, but didn't need them. Trying to get existing flex hose to "screw" into the connector really never worked perfectly, regardless of how clean the edge was, which is why i gave it only a 4. However, i had some leftover Aluminum Foil tape from HVAC project i did earlier this year and used it to connect the flex hose very securely to the connector (I would recommend this tape over duct tape just because it's made for sealing off any air leaks). Once i did that the connector itself was so easy to push & turn to lock. Very happy to throw the old dumb clamp that constantly slid off in the trash!

this improved the connection of my dryer hose to the outside and looks professional. It fits the usual dryer hose size. easy to fir to hose and attach to the wall. As I am a girl this was easy an fix to attach to the wall and dryer hose

Let's face it, clearing the dryer vent is a huge hassle. However, this must be done at least annually to avoid house fires! This replacement connector is an upgrade that helps greatly. It does not eliminate the need to pull the dryer away from the wall - no way to avoid that struggle - but it does make disconnecting and reconnecting the dryer vent hose a great deal easier and a lot less messy. Hey, one out of two is not bad, is it?
