Excellent build quality, fully customisable and a satisfying 'thock' to the keys.
I wanted a full size 'gaming' keyboard, which really limits your choice these days as the trend is to lose the numerical keypad for the 'tenkeyless' style. After a lot of research, the ROG Strix Scope seemed to rate really highly and comes with all I wanted, such as customisable RGB lighting, removable cable, pre-lubed linear NX 'Snow' switches and PBT keycaps etc.Although one of the selling points is the fully customisable RGB lighting, I much prefer a simple single colour 'backlight' effect for mine which was easy to set up and match the lighting from my Logitech mouse without any issue. This is my first bit of ASUS ROG kit, but I'd happily buy more if everything else is made to this standard.

Great feeling and sounding keyboard
I had a Razer Blackwidow Elite before and it only lasted 3 years, this keyboard is so much nicer than the Razer, feel of the keystrokes and the sound it makes it day and night. Ticked all the boxes I was after, most importantly volume control, the backlight is nice and bright even during the day.Highly recommend, especially at the price, way cheaper than Razer which has really bad longevity.

High End, & Worth Every Penny!!
Wow this is the best keyboard I have ever seen and used 😍 it has that high quality feel and gameplay is super quick you can also use Asus Armoury to change the image and lighting and if you have other Asus aura products you can sync them all in motion 10/10 I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these.

Great keyboard, garbage software
This small keayboard is surprisingly heavy, has a 'high quality' feel and overall is great for gaming. I had a small issue with back lighting, which refused to switch on a couple of times for me, but re-plugging the keyboard was fixing it every time.My only complaint is about ASUS Armoury Crate rubbish, which I had to install once to customise a few keys. This piece of spyware performs an obscene amount of tracking and telemetry, installs a dozen of useless Windows services, which consume resources in-game, and is impossible to completely uninstall, even with professional tools like Revo Uninstaller. Fortunatelly, I expected this. So, I completely wiped the hard drive with Windows and re-installed it without bloatware to be able to play in peace.Do not buy ASUS, unless you know what you are dealing with.

Clacky enough
I was in the market for a new full-sized mechanical keyboard and this one fit the bill. It was on sale for £100 at the time and you could also get £20 cashback from Asus. A keyboard like this for £80 seemed like a pretty compelling offer.I gather this model was originally available with two different types of switches, Snow and Storm, with Storm being the more "clacky" of the two. That's probably what I would have preferred, but I could only find the Snow available here from Amazon so that's the one I went with. I can see what people mean when they say the key presses have a more "thwacky" quality to them, but it's "clacky" enough for me.It doesn't have macro keys or a passthrough USB port like my old keyboard but those are features I can pretty easily live without. The RGB was very simple to control with the Armoury Crate software. At 6 mm, the gap between the board and the keys is larger than than I am used to but it seems like this will make it much easier to remove any debris so I'm not complaining. There is also a wheel in the top right that by default controls the volume by scrolling (and clicking it mutes the audio entirely) but has several modes, including replicating the functionality of the middle button of a mouse. I'm not used to it yet but I can see the volume control being useful. In the box you'll find:- a wrist rest that attaches magnetically to the bottom of the keyboard- a USB cable for connecting the USB-C port on the keyboard to a USB-A port on your computer- a replacement ROG-branded space bar- a Quick Start Guide and a Warranty Card- some ROG-themed stickersI'm very happy with it but I'm not the kind of user where the performance of my keyboard is really an issue. It looks nice, sounds nice and was reasonably priced and that's all I care about.

promoted post by ASUS - Thwocky not Clacky...nice!
Ordered as a replacement for a Logitech G915 and the difference in quality is amazing. The keyboard oozes refinement and the keystrokes from the mechanical keys is extremely satisfying....very thwocky and not that clicky clacky sound that can get annoying to some ears. Would highly recommend.

Wrist rest is a magnetic attachment
I use my PC from my armchair. The attached wrist guard on my old keyboard is vital for securing the keyboard while I use it. Without this, I have no way of keeping the keyboard from falling over, rendering it useless until I can find some way to secure it.I know most people will use keyboards at desks and not have this problem. But that's not feasible for everyone.

Great ful size keyboard - ASUS ROG Strix Scope II Full-Size Gaming Keyboard
Updated to type of keyboard as didnt realise there are a number on here - Still a great keyboard...Been on the fence for a while regarding updating my keyboard and looking at this one for quite a while, there are not many reviews, but went for it and really happy. I use it for work and gaming (mainly work) didnt want the wireless one as it would be too small and dont need wireless.Really nice typing experience, comfy and looks great, the media knob works good. if you were on the fence, could be a bit cheaper, but all decent keyboards seem to be expensive (to me) the problem now is I looking to get a rog mouse for the aura sync
