It works great but I was really disappointed after it completely lost suction after the third time. I wrote to the seller and they were great about getting back to me on how to fix the issue. It may have been on the original directions, but I figured I didn't need to read directions on how a siphon worked. If yours looses suction, this is what they recommended (which fixed the problem right away)"Maybe there is air in the tube. It affects the use of the siphon principle, which generally occurs after using the product several times.I hope you can try it. When using it,1.put the hard tube in the fish tank,2.then plug the other end of the hose outlet with your hand,3.then press the operation. After about 5 to 10 times presses, release the hand from the hose, the air stored in the interior decreases.4. then start using it normally, the water will start to circulate automatically."

The product worked fine the first time. After that it stopped working well. The button you press for suction kept getting stuck. I missed the deadline to return or else I would have sent it back

Bought in December and it worked very well until April when it no longer worked. It started to suck up the water but then it leaked from the handle instead of going in the tube. It was beyond the return dates for Amazon so I reached out to the company. I sent a video and described what was happening. They replaced it with no problems. New unit works very well.

Really easy to use and sucks up debris from bottom of tank. The scraper gets any algae residue off the glass.

Works as intended but not a quick job. Also the clip for the hose to clamp on the bucket doesn't work. So be careful rhe hose doesn't come loose and let the water out.

I bought this vacuum because I’ve heard good reviews on their heaters. The packaging was great, everything was there. I immediately set it to use it and took about 36-40 pulls of the trigger to get it going which was a little rough on my arthritis. Once it got going it had great suction. Which in theory is a good thing except the gravel was stuck in a vortex within the tube and one or two pieces would fall out at at time so you’re draining more water while trying to get the rocks to fall out. I figured it was too much for my fish tank and moved onto my turtle tank and that’s where it ended. It sucked up the sand and clogged within seconds. Tried to clear the blockage but you can’t get inside of the gun without disassembling and from then on it would not suck anymore. So I threw it away. If you had a bare bottom tank, it may work great but not with substrate of any kind.

So easy to clean my 100 gallon tank with this vacuum. Great suction!

The irony is that this product is made to clean your tank; I'm disappointed in hygger for offering an inherently flawed design. I've used this vacuum once. Despite repeat, methodical, attempts, the old/dirty/bacteria from my tank remains sitting in the 'gun' feature. The only way I can think to relieve the retaining aquarium water: pull it apart. Pulling it apart is not is not a feature as it is factory produced to 'not' come apart. Hygger does not have an FAQ on how to clean this product and thus caution anyone who seeks to keep their aquarium healthy, as is the idea behind selling and purchasing this item, to stick with the old method of siphoning their tank.
