Good for amateurs, but not for professionals
The lens has strong fish-eye distortion, so I highly doubt that this is an actual triplet loupe, or at the very least the lenses were badly matched. However, the black finish did help reduce glare when looking at objects, and I appreciated the wide field of view. The loupe was also sturdily built with metal, and tight nylon hinges kept it from flopping open while hanging around my neck. It also came in a nice leather pouch inside a decorative box.

Hard to see the coins in this one they mostly show upside down

The loupe has a tiny spot that you can see clearly through. The rest is so blurry you can't see anything. I took it apart made sure the lens were installed properly they were. I'd avoid find a better one.
