Little tricky to install
I got these to be able to put a Baldwin filter instead of the Cat one, the install was a little tricky since the bolt didn't quite fit due to length and had to force it in. Once it was in I was able to run everything with no problem. I had an issue afterwards where my filter housing started leaking and lost prime, but it wasn't related to this part. In fact having this part made it easier to replace the housing without loosing a lot of diesel.

Not easy to install but thats a GM issue
This does exactly what it was intended to do. It wasn't easy to install but that's because of the GMC design of the filter assy. It does give the extra room under the filter to get the water sensor loose without bashing your knuckles on the manifold though.

Hard to install but the bleed screw was easy and looks like it will last many filter changes

Won't hold a prime
After installing both parts. My truck will fire up then die. I don't know why. I bleed the system many times. Any help please
