The Ordinary Hair Care Natural Moisturizing Factors + Hyaluronic Acid, Lightweight Hydrating Scalp Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane, 2 Fl Oz

When I got this product I found it out by Ted talk from a black product developer name Jordan any recommended a couple products that are good for the scalp and I got it from my Ulta and I played it once my hair was washed and everything and when I tell you you can feel instead hydration to this product on your scalp you can really feel it it feels nice and soothing and it feels really good and you can feel literally the moisture going on your scalp and I put it on my hairline too so I can help your hair be healthy & it is very lightweight moisturizer for the scalp since build up and stuff is not really good for your scalp so I apply it in my hair every now and then without feeling too bad if my scalp is going to be dirty or anything or going to have build up on it. And it's especially good on your scalp so your hair can grow longer and healthier this definitely helped my hair grow thanks to this product I just wish there was a jumbo size or way bigger size this is probably the fourth time I got in this product for my scalp I highly recommended

If you think you have dandruff but dandruff shampoos seem to make the problem worse, you may not have dandruff at all but a dry scalp. This serum soothes itchy skin on contact and gives your scalp that "drinking it in" hyaluronic acid moisturizer feeling. Dramatic decrease in flakes after a single use. It does make your hair a little greasy - I use the night before I shampoo.

I started using The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Hyaluronic Acid Scalp Serum because my scalp gets dry/tight (especially in winter or when I use clarifying shampoo). After a few weeks, I’d say it’s a genuinely helpful product if your main goal is scalp comfort and hydration, not dramatic hair growth. Texture / feel: It’s very lightweight more like a watery gel-serum than an oil. It spreads easily across the scalp and doesn’t make my roots look greasy as long as I don’t overdo it. I can use it on dry hair or right after a shower, and it absorbs pretty fast. Results: The biggest difference for me was less itchiness and less flaky dryness around my hairline and part. My scalp feels calmer, and I’m not constantly wanting to scratch my head on day 2–3 after washing. It also plays well with other hair products (no weird residue or buildup so far). How I use it: I part my hair in a few sections, apply a few drops, then massage it in for ~30 seconds. I use it 3–5 times a week, usually at night or after showering. Scent / irritation: No strong fragrance (big plus). I didn’t get stinging or redness, but if your scalp is super sensitive, I’d still start slow. What I like • Actually helps dry, tight, itchy scalp • Lightweight and not oily • No heavy scent • Easy to apply and doesn’t weigh hair down What to know • If you expect “thicker hair” or major growth, this isn’t really that kind of product • You can accidentally make roots look a bit flat if you apply too much • Works best as a consistent routine product, not a one-time fix. Overall: For scalp hydration, this is a solid 4/5. It’s simple, effective, and easy to use but it’s not transformational, and you still need good wash/conditioning habits to fully fix dryness.

I use this after I get out of the shower on damp hair. I find that if I use it on dry hair that it makes it a bit oily! I think it has helped with my dry scalp and flaking! My scalp is especially bad in the winter.

I had a dry flaky scalp because my previous shampoos were too deep cleansing and ruining my barrier. This serum plus a more gentle shampoo really helped me! Will get another one soon

I have short, coarse hair(4C) and this was very drying. I used it at night and it felt great at first, but once it dries it made my hair feel hard and crunchy. I love The Ordinary brand for skincare but this serum just didn't work for my hair.

I’m really not sure how this works but it does. I am suffering from dry scalp related to winter weather/ indoor dry heating. Just a few drops on the scalp clears it up. It’s a little hard to believe since I have tried tons of different shampoos and colloidal oatmeal products which are okay but not as effective

i have a dry sensitive scalp so trying new products is always a hit or miss. i had red dots on my scalp and a big flaky scab for 2 months because i tried an herbal essence shampoo. i’m not kidding after 2 days of using this serum it was gone! also great for relieving any itchiness. definitely will be repurchasing.
