At 43, I probably shouldn’t be out skateboarding, but I’m glad I had these CTHOPER wrist guards on when I did. During a quick ride, a rock caught me on a simple curb ollie and sent me flying. While I ended up with road rash on my elbows and shoulders, these guards completely protected my wrists. As a mechanic, I have to protect my hands to stay in business, and these did the job perfectly. The Value for money is unbeatable. they cost a fraction of what a missed day of work would. The Functionality is exactly what you need for impact sports. The hard plastic splints absorbed the initial shock and let me slide on the pavement rather than snapping my wrists back. The Accuracy of the product description is spot on; they are built specifically for that forward-falling impact you get in skating or snowboarding. The Quality of the materials is impressive for the price. The stitching held up even after being dragged across the asphalt, and the breathable mesh kept them from getting too sweaty. I found the Size and fitment to be excellent; they stayed exactly where they were supposed to be without shifting during the fall. The strap system makes them very simple to put on and take off, and you can easily adjust the tension for a secure feel. In actual Use, they are comfortable enough that you almost forget you're wearing them until you actually need them. If you’re an older skater or someone whose career depends on their hands, these are an absolute must-buy.

I use these for mountain biking, I sized up, and I wear them over a pair of bontrager gel gloves. Everything is snug and tight, but I am able to hold my bars fine, no impediment or issues, and the keep my wrists from hurting after rides, they stop any numbness from pressure points, and i've crashed a couple of times in them, including a sideways front wheel wash out on a fire road where I stuck my hands out reflexively to catch the very hard fall; i landed directly on the palm cushions and had not wrist issues, or any pain at all from the impact. If I had been in just gloves or bare hands, I would have cuts and abrasions, and possibly sprained wrists, and this little guy prevented all of that. ONly 4 stars though, because I don't think they will last super long with tons of use / or a few crashes. No big deal, I bought a few pairs.

I am a 76.5-year-old guy who wants to buy a V11 unicycle. From watching videos, it looks like fun. Step one is to go to the community swimming pool and start swimming laps, to get some needed body tone. Second is to buy equipment that will let me fall as many times as it will take to learn how to ride. The V11 can go up to 34.1 miles per hour, or at lower speeds up to 70 miles on a single 12 cent electric charge. Unicycles have no steering wheel, or seat belts, so you will need to suit up enough to slide down a cement road, when you make a mistake. We all learn by making mistakes. It will happen, so plan for it. I bought XL orange gloves, because I wanted to have enough color on my hands to let people see me if I am on the road with any cars. I also bought Large CTHOPER Impact Wrist Guard Fitted Wrist Brace Wrist Supports. Both the XL gloves and the Large Wrist Guards arrived in the mail today, 3 days after I placed a free shipping order. I was very happy with the speed of delivery, at no extra cost. My initial idea was to put the wrist guard on first, and then the gloves. This did not work, the gloves are too small for this approach, but gloves first then wrist guard did work. I am wearing them around the house, and so far they seem comfortable enough to have them on for 4 or 5 hours. I have one month in which to change my mind and return them. But on this first day, they both seem like keepers. You might want to know, why do this at my age? All my life I have been living in my head, as a software engineer, spiritual seeker, amateur physicist, thinking all the time, with the hidden goal of avoiding my body. This V11 riding seems like the best way to become more alive. Vividly awake, it will be exciting to fly down the street, and not be dead yet. There is still time to live fully.

Getting older I both care more about body protection and I don't heal as fast. These guards work great, they are not overly stiff but they add the rigidity I need to stop my wrist from bending in a worst case scenario. I wear park gloves and these fit perfectly with those. Also, if I do get a sprain rather then using my typical wrist wrap tape (buy it in bulk of 12) this does the same job but is reusable and offers the support I need while not interfering with my job. (Beyond desk work I also do a lot of work with my hands)

I returned before using, but with the intent for wrist protection during snowboarding… I’d imagine these are way too flimsy to be protective during high impact. Once on and tightened, they allow for a lot of movement and flexibility of the wrist.

I use it at night when I sleep. It immobilizes my wrist and I am able sleep without discomfort.

These are great, easy to slip on wrist supports that do a good job despite appearing to be quite short. I am over 80 years old and recently broke my wrist but I love to kick-scoot. As insurance against breaking a wrist again by falling on an outstretched hand, I wear these. They are quick to apply and feel very secure with excellent wrist support.

I got mine to protect wrists with Carpel tunnel. Worked well for that purpose. Also useful for recovering from surgery in the area. probably useful for preventing sports injuries.
