My senior dog licks and chews on his paws a couple months or so each year due to increased allergy issues. He takes allergy medication year round already so we just have to deal with the problem a different way. These socks are helpful. They are easy to take on and off. They are easy to care for (I hand wash them and hang them up to dry). I like the fact that you get six socks and the grippers are great. However, at least two of the socks (for the back paws) should be longer and have the Velcro in two spots or just one that would be higher up the paw (actually on the leg). They slip down on the back paws too much because they are too short for the back paws. Okay short term but not for longer time frames. Also, the snap for the Velcro attachment to the sock should have a cloth cover over the inside part because it presses into the dogs paw and can cause discomfort. I use these socks for short periods of time during the day when I can’t watch him and he sleeps in human socks that I tape on using cloth tape.

My son got these for our 12yo English Pointer so he doesn't slide on floors. Nothing really ever works for him as far as fit. They go on but they slide around so there are times he doesn't have the grip part in the right place.Great idea but doesn't seem to work on my dog's paws.

I don't know if it's because my dog is smart and stubborn but he had these off the moment I turned around. He was able to undo the velcro and take them off. The non slip aspect is good when they're on him.

Bought this for camping and doing dishes u have to clean out thoroughly and take out of sink and clean inside and out so it doesn’t get mildew

Tacoma has been having a really hard time standing up on bare floors. And when he goes downstairs, his feet always go out from under him on the landing. So a couple of weeks ago, I got him some booties. They are like those non-skid socks they give people in the hospital, with straps at the top to help keep them on. I didn't know if he would tolerate them,.and if they would work, but he does and they do! A couple of them have come off once or twice, but overall they stay on very well. And it didn't take him any time at all to get used to them. It makes me so happy to see him go down the stairs now, and land on his feet and just keep walking. 🥰

I had a pool party last summer and my boy wore spots off the pads on his feet running around on the cement. This year, I put these on him before the party started. Game changer! After 8 hours of him running around/swimming in them, they had holes where his nails went through them, but his feet were perfect! Well worth the money..even for 1 day as we used them!

I got these because my dog was slipping on the hard wood floors. That fell of his paws after a short time. I was constantly searching for the missing booty or having to pull them back up. I can say these are much better than the adhesive ones that stuck directly to the paw. Those ended up balled between his paw pads.

I got these for my 8 year old goldendoodle who had had a few slips on the laminate floors and was very cautious and wary about walking on them. Unfortunately she managed to bite the buttons and straps off in the first few days, but with perseverance is now leaving them alone. I no longer put the straps on and although the front ones stay on fine, the back ones do slip down and come off. Despite this she does have more traction and is more confident in walking on the floors. We have developed a routine for getting them on and she appears happy with this. They have washed well too. Overall, I am happy with this product as it allows my dog to walk more confidently on the laminate floors. The only thing to improve them would be if they came in different lengths. I feel if the back sock was longer, it would stay on better.

I bought size - small - for a miniature Schnauzer. He lives with my sister in Greece and the patio can get way too hot for him to pop out for a wee. I thought they might be too small but they are perfect. People stop them in the street to comment on them. They have wildfires over there right now as it's over 40 degrees and they are a godsend! He won't go out without them now. And of course they get snow in winter so they will keep him warm then, too. The little velcro straps mean he keeps them on. He was a bit unsure at first so they put one on for a while and then added another and he did not resist at all or try to pull them off. Loves them.

My dog is very comfortable with the socks, I like them!
