Useful big size
Easily constructed. I am not using it connected to down pipe. I have a long run from boiler to hot water taps so I collect the 12 pints of water and decant into the water butt for use at a later date.

Pre drill the inlet hole
Good value for money, pre drilling the inlet hole would be an improvement (Most people don’t have a 2.7cm drill bit)

Great size water butt
Very happy with my purchase. Ideal size for my front garden where it fits unobtrusively beside bay window catching rainwater from downpipe. Now I can water front garden easily without dragging hosepipe round side of house.
