quality and great blade for hunting
This is my favorite travel hunting staple for the last few years, stays sharp for all my use and is portable. I still wish this had a plastic snap sheath, but it is well worth the money.

Nice utility blade, poor sheath.
Nice, useful knife. I really like the size and shape of this knife by Gerber. I did ding it one star because of the sheath. I don't find it practical or useful and will probably get a kydex piggyback sheath for it on my machete sheath. The blade was pretty sharp as it arrived, but I'll sharpen before use. I think I'll wrap the handle with micro cord for a little extra grip. I look forward to putting this to use in the field. If you're looking for something with a better thought out sheath and better grip, I would definitely recommend Gerber's Ghost Strike knife. But this is a perfectly adequate blade. It just deserves a better sheath.

Gerber Hunting Knife
This knife is really sharp, right out of the box. You can't even handle it without getting a paper cut. It is extremely high quality, and the weight is perfect!

A bit dangerous
Be really careful with the point near the handle. After a few small cuts I filed it down. This thing is sharp!

Para el precio que lo encontré $460 me pareció un producto sumamente bueno. Es un cuchillo muy compacto, y ligero. Lo cual lo vuelve muy versátil en ambientes urbanos. Su ergonomía y afilado no es el mejor para trabajos pesados, pero para cortes ligeros es una herramienta muy útil.
