A really good spoke key, good in the hands and very easy to do a whole wheel with it.

As long as you buy a genuine Rixenkaul, you're getting a workshop grade spoke key that fits perfectly and easy to carry with you if you need too. Just be careful there are a lot of fake copies out there, with only 1 jaw.

In terms of quality, it is very good. Very solid with good materials.My only point is that it is a bit expensive

This appears to be the very best spoke key you can get! I've used one for a while, and the plastic "penny" is strong and doesn't break, and the little metal jaws are accurately engineered and remain completely unaffected by any kind of wear. This does the least damage to the spoke nipples because it's designed differently. It has more metal in contact with the nipples because it's designed as a square with the corner cut off, allowing just enough space for the spoke itself to pass through - that means that 3 and a half sides of the nipple are acted upon (and three corners are fully gripped), as opposed to just three sides (and only fully gripping two corners) as is the case with many spoke keys.Strong Tip (learned from bitter experience): With old wheels, despite what some people say, put a drop of oil at the top of the nipple and another at the base where it enters the rim before working on the wheel.

Got this for wheel building but reverted to my old yellow one as it was easier to apply/remove once the spokes were under some tension.

Got this after buying a metal alternative which broke after a couple of spokes. This has been great though and very comfortable to use

I ordered this at the beginning of September. Although it worked a treat for a month, it fell apart a week after the return window of 07/10.
