Another great album by Kate Bush
The title track is one of my favourite songs by the revered artist. Excellent album.

180G Audio Fidelity Vinyl
Sensual World has always been a bit fatiguing on CD to my ears, so I was excited to learn Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray mastered this beautiful work of art for the vinyl format. And as expected, they delivered in top form. Drums have more punch, reverb tails are clear and clean, and as I'd hoped, with a little midrange EQ adjustment, I could truly enjoy Kate's wonderful work at last. The vinyl itself is of the highest quality, having very low noise. The cover photo is as captivating as ever. Lyrics are printed inside the gatefold. The cover has a nice high gloss finish. Definitely a winner for the audiophile Kate Bush fan. If you're not interested in the Director's Cut box set, then I recommend you get one of these before they disappear!

Had a section of skips in each track. Very disappointing. Otherwise I love her musuc.
Description said good quality, but had several skips in each track. No visible scratches, and my other CDs play fine, so it's not my player.

Kate's World
One of Kate's best offerings a favourite for over... twenty years? I can remember buying it when it first came out in cassette. I still find the music relevant and poignant. Kate Bush is a fine poet and puts her words to music beautifully with a creativity that holds water for me now, in 2015. I think that means it's transcended and become classic.

a brilliant overall whole characterised in individual tracks speaking to human ...
A Kate release is a rare bird to be treasured and kept safe from the white noise of contemporary sound. The Sensual World is a sensation of complex layers rounding into.a brilliant overall whole characterised in individual tracks speaking to human relationships woven with heartrending emotion (This Woman's Work), earthy pleasures (title track), and loss and want (never be.mine). You must purchase this.

Love Kate Bush!!
Finally traded in my cassette for the CD. I've enjoyed this album for, well, since the days of cassettes!. Some songs I like, some I love. Bought it for "Love & Anger" and "This Woman's Work"; still love those two songs after many years!!

Classic Kate Bush
Released in 1989, The Sensual World was Bush’s sixth studio album, and the follow-up to the successful Hounds Of Love. Emotionally raw and lyrically inventive, there is a lushness to the sound, with layer piled upon layer sweeping you along in the complexity of the sound. Bush captures a broad range of sounds here, from David Gilmour’s impressive guitar chops on "Love And Anger", to the presence of Bulgarian vocal ensemble Trio Bulgarka on "Deeper Understanding", "Never Be Mine", and "Rocket’s Tail".Somehow, despite the over-the-top feel to most of her work here, Bush managed to create an album on the right side of self-indulgence. As with most of her work, the thrill is in having no idea what the next song will bring.

Not for everyone but worth it for This Woman's Work.
For me this was and still is a tough album to get into. With exception to the title track, Fog and This Woman's Work it was difficult to like the other songs which I found unusual as I find most of Kates work innovative, interesting and usually catchy. Perhaps its too personal an album for all of us to connect with - full of ideas and feelings Kate needed to get out of her head? It will remain in my collection just so I have TWW which is an absolutely astounding track and showcases Kate's songwriting genius but I suspect I won't be spinning this album as a whole that regularly.

An Astonishing voice range
Kate is immortal! With a voice-range of four and half octaves, she cannot fail to take us into the realms of sheer enjoyment. I'll follow her up that hill anytime. I keep her album 'The Whole Story' by my bed for my daily rations of Kate. I can thoroughly recommend any of Kate's albums. Her song 'Lyra' from 'The Golden Compass' (based on the book Northern Lights) is possessively haunting, and I find myself playing the movie just to listen to that song as the film titles play out the disk....-- need I say more??

Essensually a great album
This is a fantastic album from Kate. Released 28 years ago in 1989, it remains as beautiful as ever. The limited edition Audio Fidelity vinyl version sounds great. The glossy, gatefold jacket comes complete with a special, anti-static, translucent purple inner sleeve. Very highly recommended.
