Exactly what we were looking for. A friend can no longer type and uses index finger to spell out words on a table. The boogie board allows everyone to see what is actually being written. And the fact it glows in the dark lights it up for nighttime use.

This board is of better quality than others we’ve tried - it’s sturdy and has held up well to our two year old twins for a couple of months now, which is more than most.It’s compact and lightweight, making it perfect for traveling. The colors are bright, but not electric - definitely more muted than the product photos. The erase button is at the bottom and has no lock feature like some other boards have, so it’s easy to accidentally erase drawings.The fact that it can pop off its backing to put in 8 different templates is what really sets it apart though. Our kids are still a bit young to fully enjoy this feature, but it’s a great idea for older toddlers. Hopefully it will survive until they’re old enough to start tracing.Overall, this board is an eco-friendly and convenient source of much entertainment for our kids, so it’s safe to say we all love it!

In the glow mode, you have to wait a long time for the glow to subside before you can draw again. Who has the patience? Most likely not the kids. The trace guides are difficult to slide in and out, even for an adult. And once in, the guide doesn't stay in place, it moves around a bit.

My kids have been using Boogie Boards for several years now. They were used a lot when school was online. This new Boogie Board seem very well made again and has a nicer look. The added color screen does make it more fun to use. I did find that the screen size wasn't really big enough for use to do any school work (or maybe more geared to early elementary school). However, it works great for just doodling or playing around. The glow in the dark function is an interesting new thing, at least for me. It does work with the included Magic Light Pen. My kids did find it very fun to play with, and I think it will keep young kids interested in it due to this. I would say this is very ideal for young kids.

Haven't tried it yet. Not sure why the packaging came looking like it had been opened before then revealed. Will have to see everything works as it should once my niece opens it.

This is great for using for doodling but also writing notes for homework or schoolwork. We homeschool so we use this a lot to save paper if we need to remember scores for games or do work for a math problem, try to spell a word, etc!The glow option is awesome so they can use it to doodle before bed or even just fun sensory experience in the dark. Great for fine motor skills for my kids with autism and sensory as well. Love boogie boards!

Device did not work when it was delivered.Frustrating because the CR2016 battery was dead. Once I went to the hardware and purchased another one the device worked fine.

An upgrade to the original Boogie Boards - with the coulours. The templates add to the fun. We do love the glow too!Just push the button to clear the screen - but watch out you don't do it by accident.This seems sturdy and well made, and perfect for my little girl. Endless doodling beats her tablet!
