HUMBase Control -Iron Free,Daily Women's Minerals with B Complex, Vitamin C, 22 Micro-Nutrients to Support Postmenopausal Women - Non-GMO, Soy-Free, Gluten-Free (30-Count)

I've been using HUM Base Control (with iron) and alternating it with Base Control Iron Free. Both work very well. They help with energy and regularity. I have been using these supplements for 2 years now. My daughter takes the one with Iron. I take it with breakfast (in between my breakfast).

I was looking for a multivitamin that's certified by the agencies that oversee supplements to determine whether they actually contain what they say they do. HUM rated high on all their lists. It wasn't horribly expensive so I decided to give it a try and have been pleased. It's a large-ish pill, but it's coated well and easy enough to swallow. (For those with swallowing difficulties, I would not recommend this unless it could be crushed and mixed in with applesauce or yogurt. Check with the manufacturer.) I plan to keep buying this.

I like this brand in general so I was especially excited to try a post menopausal daily vitamin, much needed and such a great concept. All the necessary vitamins and minerals are included in this formula so it feels extremely comprehensive and like I wouldn't need to take a single other supplement to support my health. The only thing that keeps me from giving this daily vitamin five stars is the fact that it is an uncoated pill. I know for a lot of people that may not matter, but for me personally, I am not a person who loves to swallow pills. So, in order for me to be motivated to do so on a daily basis, it has to be extra easy with a coated, gel cap or even better yet, a yummy gummy!

Similar to other reviews, these vitamins smell bad. I did check the expiration date and it is for 11/2025, so they should be good. It would be great if Hum could shed some light on why they smell bad. It is a very strong odor. I will continue to take them, and just hold my nose. I do not know the effect yet as I just started taking them this week. I will update my review after using them for a bit.

Good pill with good ingredients - easy to swallow with no bad aftertaste of side effects helps boost energy

I didn’t like the smell. I didn’t want to store them with my other supplements when I travel because they sink.

I am hopeful that these will work in time.Things like this usually takes around 3 months to work effectively.While I can’t report too much on the effectiveness of this product…The capsules are a little larger than expected, but not hard at all to swallow.The dosage is only one per day.I recommend taking with food to avoid stomach upset, though I haven’t experienced any.These are also iron free, which is good for sensitive stomachs.I take with at least 8 ounces of water.

I am not fully menopausal (yet), but I can definitely feel the difference since taking these. I have trouble swallowing most pills due to dysphagia, so I crush mine and swallow with a little water. A serving size is only one tablet. They're very easy to crush into a fine powder without much effort. These vitamins are clinically tested, vegan, and clean. They also contain iodine, in addition to an impressive array of vitamins and minerals as you can tell from my photo. As I stated, they are vegan, but also free of allergens like milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, artificial colors/flavors, and preservatives. What's not to like? I am going to continue getting these vitamins as I am really enjoying the benefits of them.
