A Godsend for Retro Console Restoration!
I bought this mat specifically to help manage the teardown and restoration of my retro console collection, and it has been absolutely perfect for the job. Why it’s essential for my workbench: Screw Organization: This mat is perfect for separating and organizing different lengths of screws as I take consoles apart. Game-Changing Magnets: The magnetic sections are a complete godsend. They securely hold onto the smallest screws, ensuring I don't lose anything during a complex build. Superior Surface Protection: It provides a safe, heat-resistant area that protects my desk from the 500°C heat of a soldering iron. High Quality: The quality of the silicone is excellent—it’s flexible, durable, and handles daily use without any issues. Final Verdict: This mat has completely changed how I manage my projects. It’s a 100% recommended purchase for anyone doing electronics work or restoration.

A must for electronics repair!
I bought this mat because I had been using a piece of wood as my soldering cover for a long time - and it was really time for an upgrade. The Preciva Soldering mat is overall very nice - it is thick, so you can use it being sure that you won't damage the surface on which you use it. · It protects my table top from damage by the soldering iron and chemicals. · It has lots of areas to hold small parts + it has a magnetised area. This is probably the perfect mat to use for jewellery or repairing mobile phones – as it has many places you can organise small components and screws. · The things I solder are typically very tiny and I was having issues with constantly dropping parts or having them roll onto the floor – No more with this mat everything stays where I can see it. · It smelled a little funny at first but it was as fine after I let it air out for a couple hours. 👉 I've been using this mat for about 2 months now, and I really like it! It has convenient holders, resists high temperatures, and does everything I need it to. ☑ Pros: ✔ Can withstand high temperatures ✔ Many slots to store elements / small screws etc. ✔ Anti-slip design ✔ Flexible and durable ❎ Cons: - none (I will update if I find anything on continuous use) Highly recommended!

Mostly well made with a couple of badly implemented features
The magnets and little storage areas with lids seem to have been an afterthought, but it is a good size and seems resilient enough to last well.

Great Soldering and Disassembly / Repair Companion
This mat is great to have for anyone that does tear downs and repair of electronic equipment due to its antistatic properties and heat resistance. Please see my video where I test the heat resistance @ 350 degrees Celsius which is the average soldering temperature people use. The white heat marks dissapear real quickly and leave no visible sign of heat damage to the mat. The upper middle compartment is the perfect length to hold KSGER style T-12 soldering tips as you can see in my pic. It also has smaller compartments for the older Hakko 936 style soldering tips. The other compartments are also well laid out, and I especially like the screw position compartment which has 122 numbered holes for small screws from laptops, phones etc.. There is also areas with magnets inside the mat for holding screws to prevent you dropping them. All in all its a great accessory to a soldering and repair bench and is just the right size in my opinion.

Good
Very good and fit for purpose. Can’t say much more than that as it’s a soldering mat.

So useful and great quality
Just bought this as my many and varied hobbies require me dismantling and re-assembling a range of objects. I am a huge fan of the screw retainers and parts pots built in to this. The fact it is silicone means it will be both non-stick (solder and most adhesives) with very high heat resistance. While it is a useful feature it is one to be aware of in certain situations there are 2 areas of the mat that contain magnets both in similar area of the mat (thumbs up), if you are working on magnetic media (hard drives) this may cause issues if you are too close. It doesn't really matter what you are taking apart if it's got lots of small bits you need this mat . I'm very glad I got one. I've been looking for a while and this one has come at a price I'm happy to pay, quality and value in one

Great worktop mat
I’ve got this for my work , this really helps me to be more organised and stop hunting around for the small parts I’ve just dismantled. The mat is made from a high heat resistant silicone, it has magnets embedded in a couple of the small parts side trays It has 3 small lidded compartments and places for screwdrivers and small tools, It has a very small raised edge which helps contain the paints you are working on. I’ve been using this for just over a week and without a doubt it has helped me organise and keep things all together. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long before I’ve purchased something like this.

Lots of features, easy to maintain and great value.
This mat was bought as a replacement for an old and tatty heat resistant cloth mat and so far, I'm very impressed with what I've seen. It's a good size (45x30cm) for my work area (100x60cm). It's big enough to not feel cramped, yet still small enough that I can position a temperature controlled iron, extractor hood and other tools around it. The compartments and storage areas are thoughtfully laid out and there is a good mix of magnetic and non-magnetic holders for screws and larger items. Most of these are numbered and I've found myself being more methodical by laying out components in assembly order before I begin work. Equally, when I'm stripping an item down for repair, it's good to have a grid of screw holding compartments that I can use to store screws in a layout that reflects their original position. Keeping it clean is easy. Blobs of solder, both lead and the higher temperature lead free just brush off without leaving any marks. This is a big improvement over my old cloth mat that trapped solder blobs in its fibres, Storage is simple. I lay mine flat in a drawer but it rolls up just as well. It is easy to clean too with a little bit of detergent and water. Overall, I'm really impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
