Great jars for making sauerkraut
I've been using my jars for the past year and they've worked out great for fermenting my sauerkraut. Basically as I'm using one full jar when I get about halfway through I'll start a new batch in the second. 3 weeks later the second one is done and the first is just about empty. Real nice steady supply of probiotic goodness. The little gas relief device on top has worked really well to allow the pressure to regulate without allowing any harmful microbes into the jar. It also comes with a neat little blackboard where I can put the start date and projected end date so that I know just by glancing how close I am to the finished product so I can transfer it to the fridge. You really can't go wrong with this purchase.

Wide Mouth Opening For the Win!
This 1 gallon each, 2 jar fermentation kit is awsome! The wide mouth allows you to fill, empty, and clean the jar with ease. The air locks allow the fermentation gasses to vent while keeping unwanted contaminates out. It is easy to use an fun to watch the fermentation process work. I highly recommend these jars.

Honey Garlic
I'm going to use these to make some fermented honey garlic. I love the size as it will hold a decent amount of garlic and honey. It will hopefully make it easier to release the fumes from the fermentation process. The directions are a little vague, but hopefully I will be able to figure the process out.

Heavy Duty glass & complete kit
I make my own kraut and have broken several gallon jars just washing them. These jars are very heavy glass, very durable and seem like they won't break. They hold more than a gallon, so I can leave room for brine and expansion without overflowing. I also love the wide mouth, makes it easy to load/unload. Also came with a nice set of tongs, multiple silicone seals, one-way valves, lid plugs, labels, and marker crayon. Shipped very promptly and was well packaged. I highly recommend and would buy again.
