STURDY - but still makes lots of noise
Seems to be very sturdy, and the rubber bumpers are good for the connection directly to the truck hitch. However, the sliding ball hitch part, bounces around loose on its pins and the rail and creates a racket. It needs something to stop it from giggling too. When you have a load on it though, its ok, just clunks a little.

Heavy Duty Adjustable Trailer Hitch.
I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality parts, supplies, and tools on various types of equipment. This heavy duty adjustable hitch assembly is very versatile in it's adjustments. Uses the 2.5 inch receiver and has 3 different size coupler balls. I'm impressed with just how heavy duty this hitch assembly is. We are always pulling trailers for shop business, so this will make it easier to adjust for the different trailers we pull. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.

Great hitch
Several things I really like about this hitch:- drop hitch means I can adjust the height to level the trailer. It has a solid range of settings.- its much quieter than other hitches I have used. This is especially noticeable when the trailer is mostly empty.- It comes with everything needed, including a ball for adjusting the size if the 2 already fitted on the hitch are not the right size.- It looks nice- It feels nice... i know a weird one to mention but the finish on the hitch feels like a quality product. No burrs, a nice texture, etc. It does not feel like a low quality product when you pick it up- Huge load capacity... about 9 tons- solid construction (no hollow tubing)Very nicely made. I really like the reduced level of noise... no 'clunk clunk' when i go over a bump.one of the reasons it is so quite is that it comes with a set of shims that you install and tighten against. That really does seem to work.It also says the hitch doesn't bounce. I cant vouch for that. I can say that in general when your trailer is level, it doesnt tend to bounce as much, so in that regard it definitely helps. If there was anything I would do to improve this it would be to offer an option for sway control arms.I would definitely recommend this hitch.

Best 2.5" hitch I've ever seen.
This is the first aluminum class 5 hitch (18000lbs) I've ever seen and it's beautiful.A LOT of thought went into making this.Fit, finish and machining are perfect. It's so nice I almost don't want to use it.Comes with two locking clevis pins - one of them is a double pin. Also comes with 3 balls, a hex wrench and 4 spacers in case there is any play between the receiver and hitch. One of them is metal and there is an adjustment bolt to tighten down on the metal one. No rattling allowed on this hitch.Since forever I've been putting class 4 receivers on my F350 Super Duty pickup trucks and they top out at 10000lbs and use a standard 2" hitch. Essentially, I couldn't tow what the truck is capable of.Two weeks ago I pulled off the class 4 receiver and installed a class 5 receiver (available here on Amazon) and it is rated for 18500lbs and uses a 2.5" hitch. BIG DIFFERENCE.NOTE: THIS IS A 2.5" HITCH. IF YOUR RECEIVER IS 2" .... THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. Yes, some class 5 receivers use 2" hitches (and lower weight ratings because of that). Make sure of what you have before ordering this. They have to be using 7075 aluminum or something very similar to that to get these weight ratings. This hitch just oozes quality.Worth it? Absolutely!!!
