Great cheap way to hold open doors that keep closing, without having a doorstop floating around the house.Having a small toddler this is a much better option and easy to use by anyone.Cana be stuck on or screwed in. I just stuck them on and they adhere well to surfaces. Kid hasn't managed to pull them off or break them yet either, so they're good and sturdy.

Entrance door to our block of flats and our front door are very heavy and causing problems getting in and out with a wheelchair - used these with the sticky pads and several weeks later still holding these doors open - bought more and using them for internal doors - so far no need for the screws supplied.Edit .....now middle of March and sticky pads still working well on the two heavy doors - putting them on internal doors has stopped doors being scraped by wheelchair - love them

The product does what it says. The only issue is that the magnet is stronger than the sticky pads. So the only way to ensure it works properly is to use the screws provided, rather than rely on the sticky pads.

The magnet is extremely strong (too strong for our use so am returning them), would not be suitable for small children and don't know if the sticky pads with it would hold in place.

Magnet is very good, hold door open no issues. great price too.

Easy to install with dual side tape, but if you want it has screws as well. Holds well and has little buffer amortisation for impact.

I’ve just finished installing and works well.Thought I’d review as a number of comments about no instructions so here is a note or two in the hope of helping others.Open the door and gently touch the two pieces together and they hold very well. To release push door back so pieces squeeze together and then the two pieces detach. The pushing together seems to release the two pieces from each other and allow the door to close. So if you try to open and push them hard together it won’t stay open.Also another note, the sticky pads I used temporarily to work out where to drill the holes on door and wall. Then once holes drilled removed the sticky pads and screw into permanent position

They do the job perfectly, but if you want to only use the self adhesive strips don't bother. They certainly need the screws, I used longer ones than those supplied, but having said that I am pleased with the look and way they work.
